After conquering Romania with “Cel mai fericit de pe pământ” the most played song on radio this summer, #1 on all streaming platforms and a viral hit on TikTok rareș is releasing a new EP that marks an important chapter in his artistic journey. The project bears the same title as the hit that dominated the charts and became a true anthem of love and genuine happiness.
“The Happiest on Earth” (EP) brings together already beloved songs such as “Am tot”, “Non-Stop”, and “Îmbătrânim”, along with new, deeply emotional tracks “Gura ta”, “Rămâi o viață”, and “Inimii cum bate”. Each song tells a story about love, vulnerability, and the courage to feel everything to the fullest, reflecting the intense emotions that define rareș’s artistic style.
With an authentic, high-energy sound, this EP explores the power of love to turn our lives upside down those moments that make us smile, hurt, and grow. “The Happiest on Earth” is more than a title; it’s a feeling a state where music becomes pure emotion.
The songs on the EP were written by rareș together with Loredana Cavasdan (“Cel mai fericit de pe pământ”, “Am tot”, “Non-Stop”, “Gura ta”, “Rămâi o viață”), Diana Rubinescu (Zadi) (“Non-Stop”), Paul Iorga (“Cel mai fericit de pe pământ”), Florian Rus (“Cel mai fericit de pe pământ”), Ștefan Ioniță (“Am tot”, “Non-Stop”, “Gura ta”, “Rămâi o viață”), Mario Morar (“Am tot”, “Non-Stop”, “Gura ta”, “Rămâi o viață”), and Vitalii Tsymbal (“Îmbătrânim”, “Inimii cum bate”).
Originally from Cluj, rareș a former Law student left university to compete in and win the One True Singercompetition. Shortly after, his single “Nașpa” with Arkanian became a massive hit, sung by millions, helping him build a strong fan community and perform on the biggest festival stages.
Success continued with “Buchet de trandafiri” featuring Olivia Addams, which reached top positions on radio charts and peaked at #2 in Media Forest. Named Best New Artist at The Artist Awards 2022, rareș further impressed audiences with the lead role in the film “Romina VTM”, for which he also contributed to the soundtrack. His collaboration with Bogdan DLP on “La tine și la bani” became the most streamed song on Spotify in Romania in 2023.
Moreover, his collaboration with Theo Rose and DOMINO for “Sâmbătă seară” reached #1 on Shazam Romania and remained in the Media Forest Top 10 for 13 weeks, peaking at #2.
Versatile and refreshingly modern, rareș also collaborated this year with MIRA on “Să fii tu”, received enthusiastically by both fanbases, released “La tine și la bani 2”, and dropped his first English single, “Love is Harder”, which climbed into the Media Forest Top 10.
