The most intense weekend of the season so far brought to NIBIRU Arena the atmosphere of the great parties built around the music of the ’90s and 2000s, with hits that have remained relevant beyond the period in which they were released. Over two nights, 170,000 people attended STARDUST, setting a new attendance record since NIBIRU’s launch and turning the Arena into one of the biggest open-air clubs of the weekend.

The STARDUST weekend coincided with the celebration of Saint Mary’s Day, marking one of the most important moments of summer on the Romanian coast, a period during which NIBIRU also hosted special activities dedicated to Sea Days, with sailing workshops, aviation shows and military demonstrations.
With a lineup built around some of the best-known hits of the ’90s and 2000s, STARDUST brought NIBIRU to its peak attendance of the season and confirmed musical nostalgia as a powerful force for bringing generations together. Taking the stage were ATC, Snap, Jenny (from Ace of Base), Garcia, Eric Martin of Technotronic, Haddaway, Nana, The Mad Stuntman and Corona, bringing back to the audience the energy of an era marked by recognizable refrains and dancing.

“STARDUST was designed as an experience for all generations. We saw entire families dancing together to songs their parents listened to when they were their children’s age. That’s exactly what we set out to do from the start with NIBIRU: to build a destination where you can come with your family, have a meal, go to a concert, and later dance to the music that marked your youth,” said Andrei Șelaru (Selly), founder of NIBIRU.
STARDUST created a cultural bridge between generations, bringing back into the spotlight musical landmarks that defined the pop culture of an entire era and giving younger audiences the chance to discover them and carry them forward.
Among the moments that marked the two nights of STARDUST was also Haddaway’s appearance, who told the audience that Romania feels like home to him, as his life partner is Romanian. The artist performed “What Is Love” in an electric atmosphere, and the audience responded with energy, turning the moment into one of the standout moments of the night.
Another special moment of the two STARDUST nights came from a Romanian fan living in Germany, who traveled specifically to NIBIRU to see Nana, the artist who helped him get through difficult times in his life. Nana’s music, especially the song “Lonely,” became a soundtrack for hard times, and the fan shared that these songs gave him the strength to keep going. Andrei Șelaru (Selly) made the meeting between the fan and the artist possible, turning it into one of the festival’s most impressive moments: Nana hugged the fan, thanked him for his support, and the fan got to talk with the artist backstage.

Another memorable moment came from Jenny (from Ace of Base), who performed famous songs such as “All That She Wants” in front of an audience that knew every line by heart. The artist was visibly moved by the audience’s reaction, as they sang her songs from start to finish and filmed to relive the intensity of the experience after the STARDUST event.
Following this year’s results, STARDUST continues in 2027, and the first tickets for the upcoming edition are available online with a price advantage in the first sales stage. The 2027 edition will carry forward one of the concepts that attracted the largest audience to NIBIRU in its first season.
