The first bass drop, the first sunset in the camping area, the first photo with the duck or the castle letters so that none of these are delayed by organizational details, Electric Castle recommends that participants prepare their festival experience in advance. The organizers have put together a short checklist of things to tick off before arriving at the Banffy estate in Bonțida for the 12th edition of the event.

Access wristbands and transport tickets are already available
Collecting access wristbands in the coming days saves time at the festival entrance. In Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest, 7 collection points are open, plus the option to “order” them through Wolt, with delivery. Activating the cashless account and topping it up online before arriving at the festival is practical and allows for good budget management. Electric Castle remains a fully cashless festival, which means that all payments made both inside the festival and in EC Village are made exclusively using the access wristband. Top-up points, by card or cash, will also be available inside the festival.
For transport, the organizers recommend avoiding travel by personal car, in favor of dedicated trains and buses. EC Train remains the fastest way to get from Cluj-Napoca to the festival, with the journey to Bonțida taking approximately 40 minutes. The option of travelling by train also exists for CFR-operated services, as all trains passing through Bonțida station between July 15–19 will stop here. It is the most affordable transport option, however festival-goers must also factor in the walk from the station to the festival. EC buses will run non-stop between Cluj-Napoca and the festival throughout the entire duration of the event, with price alternatives depending on the hour. Tickets can already be purchased online.

EC Village camping and the first pre-festival party night
Access to the camping area opens on July 15 at 12:00, and from the very first evening a Sleepover Party is scheduled, featuring Wilkinson and partiboi 69, with free access for anyone holding a festival wristband. Those staying in EC Village, and not only, are encouraged to prepare for all weather scenarios, as the experience of previous editions has shown that Bonțida can mean, on the same day, high temperatures, rain, and cool nights.
The organizers also remind participants that certain items cannot be brought into the festival or the camping area, among them reusable glass or metal containers, alcohol brought from outside, drones, weapons, or large audio systems.
