HONOR launches in Romania the new HONOR Magic V6 foldable smartphone, which brings together in a single device an ultra-thin design, flagship performance, advanced AI features, and all-day productivity battery life.
The smartphone is available starting today at the recommended price of 11,499 lei and benefits, during the launch period, from a discount of up to 300 EUR through official HONOR partners, alongside HONOR Care+ Screen Protection* and three months of free access to Google AI Pro**, which includes Gemini Advanced and 5 TB of cloud storage.
HONOR Magic V6: the design that redefines the foldable category

HONOR Magic V6 brings together the advantages of a classic smartphone and the flexibility of a generous foldable display. Designed for everyday use, it offers sufficient space for multitasking, working with documents, and consuming content, while maintaining the comfort of a compact phone when folded.
With a thickness of just 9 mm in folded format and 4.1 mm in open mode, HONOR Magic V6 impresses through its ultra-thin design, while maintaining the resilience and performance specific to a flagship.
The smartphone weighs approximately 224 grams and offers the familiar experience of a classic phone when folded. When opened, the 7.95-inch inner display extends the workspace and entertainment space, while the 6.52-inch outer display ensures comfortable use in compact format.
Both displays support an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and offer brightness of up to 6,000 nits for the outer display and 5,000 nits for the inner one. In addition, reduced reflections and 4,320 Hz PWM technology contribute to a comfortable viewing experience, including in strong sunlight or during prolonged use.
A foldable built to last
HONOR Magic V6 is built for resilience, ready to face any challenge of daily use. The HONOR Super Steel Hinge offers a tensile strength of 2,800 MPa and integrates an intelligent AI-assisted damping system, which contributes to the efficient distribution of impact forces and increased durability over time.
The inner display is protected by UTG flexible glass, which reduces the visibility of the crease specific to foldable phones. For the outer display, HONOR uses Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield technology, based on up to 5,600 layers of silicon nitride, which increase resistance to scratches and wear and contribute to the reduction of reflections.
IP68 and IP69 certifications, in accordance with the IEC 60529 standard, offer top-tier resistance to water and dust, including against high-pressure water jets. This level of protection is rarely encountered in the foldable smartphone category.
The largest battery integrated into a foldable phone
HONOR Magic V6 integrates an HONOR silicon-carbon battery of 6,660 mAh, the largest battery available to date on a foldable smartphone. Thanks to its approximately 25% silicon content and energy density of 921 Wh/L, it offers the autonomy needed for a full day of work, meetings, calls, and entertainment, reducing the need for frequent charging.
Performance is supported by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform, built on the 3 nm manufacturing process, alongside LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, for a fast and fluid experience regardless of task complexity.
The smartphone supports 80 W HONOR SuperCharge wired fast charging, 66 W HONOR SuperCharge wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging for powering compatible devices.
AI-assisted photography
HONOR Magic V6 integrates the HONOR AI Falcon Camera system, consisting of a 50 MP Ultra Light Sensitive main camera, a 64 MP Ultra Sensing Telephoto periscope camera with CIPA 6.5 stabilization, and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. The camera system delivers clear and detailed images across a variety of scenarios, from landscapes and portraits to long-distance photography.
Features such as AI Color Engine, Magic Color 2.0, Magic Video Color, and AI Image to Video 2.0 help users obtain photos and videos with a natural appearance and transform static images into AI-generated clips. At the same time, they simplify the editing process and contribute to the rapid creation of ready-to-share content.
AI-assisted productivity
Based on MagicOS 10, HONOR Magic V6 integrates the most advanced AI feature suite developed by HONOR to date. The proprietary AI agents offer contextual assistance based on the user’s activity, simplifying tasks such as settings optimization, activity organization, photo editing, or recommending the most suitable tools directly on screen.
The 7.95-inch inner display is maximized through dedicated multitasking features. Fast Flex instantly activates dual split-screen mode, while PC-Level Multi Flex allows the simultaneous use of up to three applications, offering more flexibility for work, collaboration, and communication.
Extended compatibility with Apple devices
HONOR Magic V6 facilitates collaboration between devices from different ecosystems, for a more fluid user experience. Through HONOR Share, users can quickly transfer files and collaborate with iPhone, Mac, AirPods, and Apple Watch. In addition, Quick Share simplifies the exchange of documents between compatible Android and Apple devices, contributing to a more fluid working experience between devices.
Integrated Google Gemini
The experience is completed by the integration with Google Gemini, which extends the AI capabilities of HONOR Magic V6, offering assistance through text, voice, and images for activities such as planning, documentation, learning, or content creation. Through Gemini Live, users can share the device’s camera or screen to receive real-time explanations and information about documents, graphs, or other displayed information.
