Fire Island, New York – Fashion designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin relaunches his iconic swimwear line with a new campaign shot in the heart of Fire Island — a place deeply connected to queer identity, sensuality, and the brand’s own beginnings.

The new campaign, lensed by Stuart Winecoff, revisits 231 Bay Walk, the exact location where Ludovic shot his very first campaign. More than a picturesque backdrop, the house belonged to Gil Neary, a pivotal figure in shaping Fire Island’s queer culture. This return is both physical and emotional — a tribute to memory, desire, and resistance.

“This is where it all started for me. I wanted to return to Fire Island not just to show swimwear, but to honor its spirit — one rooted in love, resistance, and unapologetic beauty.”
— Ludovic de Saint Sernin

The relaunch includes re-editions of the label’s most iconic silhouettes — the signature eyelet brief and thong, and a new swim short that balances sensuality and wearability. All are styled in a sun-soaked, sweat-glazed narrative that fuses fashion with memory.

✨ More Than Just Swimwear — A Living Archive of Queer Beauty

Beyond aesthetics, the campaign is a layered reflection on queer storytelling. From bodies on the deck to the tactile tension of wet fabric and sunburnt skin, it captures intimacy as protest, as joy, and as presence.

For the full summer season, the collection will also be available in-store at The Visitors Center on Fire Island, curated in partnership with the Queer Culture Arts Foundation (QCAF) — a space that champions queer artistic expression and community connection. QCAF will be the exclusive physical retail partner for the collection.

🔥 Limited Drop. Infinite Story.

Each piece in the swimwear line is crafted not only for summer but for self-expression. With a strong focus on craftsmanship, memory, and sensual minimalism, Ludovic de Saint Sernin merges the codes of high fashion with the rawness of desire and community.
