August 13, 2026: Primark announces the opening of its seventh store in Romania, on Wednesday, September 2, marking the retailer’s debut in Iași county and a new step in its national expansion.

The new store, located in the Palas Iași mixed-use complex, will have a surface area of 3,100 square meters, spread across two floors, and will bring Primark’s accessible fashion, beauty, and lifestyle offering to one of the largest and most dynamic regional cities in Romania. Primark’s seventh store in Romania will create over 100 jobs for the local community and represents a significant investment in the region.

Customers will be able to discover the latest fashion collections, alongside dedicated spaces for beauty products and home items, for a complete shopping experience in which they can find inspiration, style, and value for every occasion. The store will have 15 traditional checkouts, contributing to a simple and efficient shopping experience.

Primark is committed to offering more sustainable products, accessible to everyone. Currently, 74% of Primark’s clothing items are made from recycled or more sustainably sourced materials, compared to 66% in 2024.
