FASHION AS SURVIVAL THROUGH CREATION
The 38th edition of the longest-running thematic multibrand fashion event in Romania, “SOIREES DE LA MODE,” took place last night in the elegant “Le Diplomate” hall of the InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest hotel our faithful host for over 15 years out of the 20 of the event, which we will celebrate next year at edition no. 40! This special edition marked a double celebration: “A Quarter of a Century of Fashion” and 25 years since the appearance of the magazine “Zile și Nopți,” a publication intensely devoted to everything that authentic Lifestyle means in Bucharest and across the country.
Under the theme “25 Years of Fashion History, 2000/2025,” the 15 selected designers reinterpreted emblematic moments, collections, and creators of international fashion, offering the audience an artistic view of the aesthetic and cultural evolution of the last quarter century.
“In a moment when humanity and all of us are living troubled times, I am convinced that a chance for escape, even inner salvation, is represented by Creativity. Fashion is one of the Arts with maximum creativity one of the meanings of the birth and existence of this event since its launch,” declared Alin Gălăţescu, the organizer and artistic director of the show.

The event was carried out with the support of the traditional partners and friends of “SOIREES DE LA MODE”: InterContinental Athénée Palace, Savoir Events Academy, Black Barn – chef Bogdan Cozma prepared a unique dessert dedicated to this evening, Nazzuro Aqua, Artesana – the artisans of milk, Serve, AV Hive, SCS, Erika Gonczi Hair Design, Elie Saab (with the premiere launch of the Pour Homme fragrance), Paulina Buldumea Make-up School and PragmatIQ Communication by Mihaela Rădăcină.
