Alessandra announces the release of the most vulnerable and sincere material of her career: the EP “Wounds and Therapy”

Alessandra takes an important step in her musical career and announces the release of her first EP, titled “Wounds and Therapy.” The material will be available on all platforms starting October 10, right on the International Mental Health Day, a date chosen symbolically for a project that speaks openly about emotions, pain, and healing.

The artist describes “Wounds and Therapy” as an EP for the soul, a collection of six tracks born from sincerity and introspection. Through powerful lyrics and profound themes, Alessandra explores the relationship with herself, childhood, adolescence, and moments of vulnerability that have defined her as a person and as an artist.

“Wounds and Therapy is an EP for the soul. It is about the courage to talk about what hurts us, not to ignore the pain in the hope that it diminishes with time. I wrote 6 songs, some about my childhood, others about adolescence and the turmoil in the soul, others in which I spoke to myself and scolded myself. I wrote what hurt me and thought that surely someone else feels like me. We will listen to this EP on 10.10, World Mental Health Day. It’s important to get well. I urge you to talk to anyone you trust about what hurts you. I am here for you and I wrote these songs to vent, to get rid of some thoughts that hold me back, to heal, in the hope that maybe they will help you when it will be hard. I trust you! WE ARE NOT ALONE,” says Alessandra.

The EP marks the most personal and sincere moment in the artist’s journey. “Wounds and Therapy” is more than a musical project, it is an artistic confession about the struggle with one’s own thoughts, an open dialogue with the soul, and an invitation to emotional healing.
Through this material, Alessandra encourages the public to look at mental health with empathy and openness, not to hide the pain, and to seek support when needed. Each track carries a part of her process of self-knowledge and transformation, and vulnerability becomes, in this context, a form of power.
Alessandra, whose real name is Alexandra Stanciu, has been singing since the age of 4. The young artist has had a harmonious relationship with the artistic world, also being passionate about acting, managing to perform on the stage of the Municipal Theatre “Gheorghe Pastia” in Focșani and winning, at the same time, over 15 trophies at national and international music festivals. The artist took the music industry by surprise with “Eres Mi Vida” in 2015, the song that propelled her to the top of fans’ preferences and into the attention of the music industry. The song’s popularity crossed the country’s borders, and the next single, “Khalia,” followed the same path of success. The artist also collaborated with artists such as Criss Blaziny (“Adio, Da’ Mă Întorc”) and Iana (“Aja Mara”). One of her latest releases, the song “Amanta ta,” quickly entered YouTube trending. Moreover, the latest collaboration alongside Theo Rose and DOMINO for “NU MĂ DUC LA CLUB” conquered both online platforms and radio stations, staying in the Media Forest Top 10 for 23 weeks. Moreover, the artist released the EP “Până la final și mai departe” together with Andrei Bănuță, as well as the song “Am un secret,” with Babasha, a song that conquered YouTube trending and beyond. This was followed by “E bună nebunia,” alongside DOMINO, and “Delirăm,” a special song for the artist, which touched the hearts of her community and beyond.
