Inspired by protest: how “Petale” was born
The song has its origin in one of the protests against violence against women, which the two artists attended together. Inspired by the energy of the event, they decided to write “Petale”. After the protest, they went together to the studio, where they met with producer Alex Cotoi and began working on the track. The result is a collaboration that blends their sensitivity with a powerful social message.
“Music has always been my way of expressing myself and of saying things that are sometimes hard to speak out loud. With ‘Petale’ I wanted to bring my contribution to the discussion about abuse, whether emotional, verbal, psychological or physical, about bullying, manipulation and about the subtle violence that hides in words. Sometimes, the deepest wounds are not visible, but they stay with you for a long time. The song speaks about fragility, about the power of words and about the moments when silence becomes heavy. The fact that I am releasing it alongside Delia means a lot to me, she is an authentic and strong artist, and together we wanted to give voice to a reality that many live, but few speak about out loud.”, tells us Irina Rimes.

2026 is announced to be full of surprises for the artist’s fans, especially as Irina Rimes is preparing a new album, to be released in the second part of the year.
