THE HOUSEGUESTS / THE GUESTS

Diesel’s Spring-Summer 2025 campaign presents a captivating and immersive exploration of human interaction. What happens when a group of strangers live together, knowing every move is closely watched?

Step inside. Feel at home and meet the other guests. Living so close to one another, you’ll make friends, enemies, or even find a lover. Enjoy, experiment, and express yourself freely. There’s just one house rule: we can watch.

The Diesel SS25 campaign, “The Houseguests,” represents the latest visual collaboration between Creative Director Glenn Martens and Art Director Christopher Simmonds. They continue to challenge and amuse with ironic visual narratives populated by eccentric characters. “The Houseguests” is inspired by a vintage Diesel campaign from the Spring-Summer 1994 season, which depicted a multigenerational group of contrasting characters in a living room, captured from an overhead perspective. Photographed by Frank Le Bon, the SS25 campaign amplifies this concept, capturing a series of absurd scenarios.

Roommates dressed in Diesel, coming from diverse backgrounds – different ages, races, genders, and body types – host a surreal dinner where the dress code is Summer Casts denim. When one of the guests drives a car into the living room, two others pose on the hood in Sporty Racer leather outfits in bright shades of red and yellow. All other guests remain unphased, dressed in motorcycle racing jackets adorned with stripes and denim decorated with speed-inspired details. In the kitchen turned beauty salon, guests wait to have their legs waxed while wearing jacquard denim and fringes straight from the SS25 runway. The shared bathroom becomes the perfect backdrop for Bandana outfits, draped and tied. In the slime-green bedroom, otherworldly creatures, including a bird, gather to relax in trompe l’oeil lingerie.

Under the all-seeing eyes, no detail goes unnoticed. Accessories include the new curvy Double D bags, Metamorph jewelry made of stainless steel chains, and more.

“The Houseguests” embodies the Diesel spirit of individuality, freedom, and personal expression, through irony and humor. The entire world is a stage, and someone is always watching.
