OPI celebrates 45 years of iconic color with the Spring 2026 collection, OPIcons. For 45 years, OPI has created some of the most recognized and best selling nail lacquer shades in the world, from Funny Bunny and Big Apple Red to Lincoln Park After Dark and Strawberry Margarita. To mark this major anniversary milestone, the brand launches the OPIcons Collection, the Spring 2026 collection that brings OPI’s emblematic colors back into focus, reinterpreted in a modern key.
The new collection includes 12 shades available in Nail Lacquer and GelColor Intelli Gel System formulas, along with another 12 shades in the Infinite Shine range. The result is a complete palette, designed both for professional salons and for consumers who seek performance and expressiveness in their manicure routine.
A manifesto collection dedicated to the colors that made history
With saturated creamy textures, as well as elegant shimmer accents, OPIcons is a true declaration of love for the shades that have defined the brand over the decades. The tones of pink, hot pink and intense fuchsia, such as Bathtime Bubbly, Strawberry Cosmo, Pompeii Pink, Passion ista, Good Nighty Aphrodite or I’m Not Really an Influencer, are inspired by the classics Bubble Bath, Strawberry Margarita, Pompeii Purple, Passion, Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie and I’m Not Really a Waitress.
The bold coral shades such as Shrimp Cocktail and Shock Em Orange reference the iconic Cajun Shrimp and Shock Em Red, while the neutral shades, pearly white, pale pink and greige, such as Kyoto Oyster, OPI’m a Bubble Bunny, Put it in Airplane Mode and You Don’t Know Suzi, reinterpret legendary colors such as Kyoto Pearl, initially launched in 1989, Funny Bunny, Put It in Neutral or You Don’t Know Jacques!.
From soft lavender to emerald green, a complete palette for 2026
The collection also explores the violet area, from delicate lavender shades and moody tones to burgundy with shimmering particles. Mod About Me, Lincoln Park After Brunch, Lavender Bath and What’s Not to Lilac? are reinterpretations with lilac undertones of cult colors such as Mod About You or Lincoln Park After Dark.
Blue and green gain a new dimension in shades of turquoise, emerald, sage and blue grey. Sea Me Now, Big Apple Green, Oh Baby! and Less is More bring a fresh perspective on well known colors such as Do You Sea What I Sea?, Big Apple Red or Less is Norse.
The collection is completed by Sunny Bunny, a buttery yellow inspired by Funny Bunny, Queens Rule, a pearly peach reinterpreted from Princesses Rule!, Big Apple Energy, a cherry red with shimmer, and Dulce de Latte, a creamy apricot inspired by Dulce de Leche.
