In addition, you’ll find an exclusive interview with NOUA UNSPE, where he talks about his journey, his musical and stylistic identity, and the shooting experience.

  1. You’re an artist now, but you started out as a producer. When did you realize music was truly your path?

I was born into a family of musicians, and was lucky to inherit their talent early on. My dad set me on the path of violin and piano when I was about seven, so music was my destiny long before I even knew I had one.

  1. You’re about to release the album STUDIO 54. What vibe does it have, and what should people expect?

STUDIO 54 is my world, a universe where everything is possible, unfiltered and without limits, full of eccentricity and sometimes controversy. Inspired by the real STUDIO 54 on Broadway, I gathered characters from all corners of that world, from a young Donald Trump to Michael Jackson, rockers, and punks, and brought them together. I imagined what music they would listen to, and distilled the ’80s sound essence into one album, with my own twist and madness.

  1. STUDIO 54 is a name full of history and energy. What inspired you to go in this direction?

I was inspired by the idea of absolute freedom, extreme style, and people living life differently. In everything I create, I try to take an essence from real life, an experience I’ve lived or something I resonate with, and filter it through my own lens until it takes shape and color.

  1. You have a standout fashion style. When did you start building your visual identity, and how has it evolved?

I think I built my visual identity the moment I realized clothes aren’t just clothes, but an extension of my personality. At first, it was pure instinct, I wore what I felt without overthinking it. Over time, I started refining my style, turning it into a visual language that speaks for me before I say a word. I don’t care about trends, I care about wearing what makes me look like I come from a world I invented.

  1. What were you like as a teenager? Were you already expressing yourself through music and fashion, or did that come later?

As a teenager, I was already my own kind of character, though rough around the edges. Music was there before I even understood what creating meant, and clothes were my way of standing out from the usual crowd. It wasn’t a phase or something that came later, I always felt the need to create my own soundtrack and costume for life.

  1. If you had to pick one style that represents you best, what would it be and why?

I don’t think I have just one style, but if I had to choose, it’d probably be a mix between a ’78 rockstar, a character from a movie that doesn’t exist, and a dream I had two years ago.

  1. Do you follow any designers or fashion icons that inspire you?

I like Kanye, Pharrell, A$AP Rocky, Demna Gvasalia, but honestly, I don’t dress like anyone else. It’s a mix of whatever I’m feeling at the moment. I can draw inspiration from anyone, but when I walk out the door, I want to come from my own world.

  1. What was the experience of shooting for Touch Magazine like for you?

It felt like meeting a version of myself from a parallel universe, and deciding to shoot together. Touch Magazine is very open and dope in every way. The rest you can see in the photos.

  1. Out of all the outfits from the shoot, which one was your favorite and why?

I loved the sporty look, with the Nike bandana, super skinny clothes, and the Hello Kitty cereal box. I looked totally crazy, a mix between Dennis the Menace with liberty spikes and a ’90s fashion model. I fucking loved it.
