“I wanted to offer something authentic to my audience in Romania. The Romanian version has a special vibe, much more personal,” Misha stated.

The Untold Story of the Song Is Just As Captivating As Its Vibe

What you might not know is that the story behind the song is as captivating as its vibe. It all started in Sweden, where Misha was invited to a music creation camp. There, alongside producer Gustav Efraimsson, the first version of “Deja Vu” in English emerged.

The producer had come with a complete instrumental, but Misha only liked the intro. The rest? Deleted.

“When I first heard the intro, something touched me. But I felt that the melodic line needed to be different, closer to what I feel. So, I remade everything as I felt,” Misha recounts.
