Mihail chose to retreat close to nature—in an isolated cabin on the shore of Lake Tarnița. He stayed there for nine months, writing, meditating, and rediscovering himself through music. But the experience was not without challenges! “The dwelling was invaded by mice, and my only companions were a few cats and a dog. But, surprisingly, everything was in harmony. The cats did not hunt the mice, and I was learning to live at a completely different pace. It was a peace I had not felt before.”

This isolation gave him the freedom to compose without pressure. The song “Beyond Us” is one of the results of these months of introspection and creativity.

“I realized how important human relationships are, how much we need each other. Now I am more ready than ever to dedicate myself to people through my art.”

After the explosion of “Mă ucide ea” and “Who You Are,” everyone was asking for a new hit. “You need to make a new hit, to continue!”, his fans and the industry were telling him. But Mihail wondered: “Is this my reality? Is this what I really want?”.
