Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week is now part of the global Fashion Week calendar, with two editions scheduled annually, in spring and autumn. This year’s spring edition will take place from March 26 to 30, 2025, and aims to elevate the standards of fashion in Eastern Europe, solidifying Bucharest’s position as an international creative and cultural hub.
Bucharest Fashion Week continues its strategic partnership with Mercedes-Benz as the main partner of Romania’s most prestigious fashion event. This ongoing collaboration is part of Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to supporting excellence, innovation, and elegance in all its forms. The partnership highlights the shared values of both entities: a passion for perfection, attention to detail, and the desire to redefine standards of excellence.
The Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) is one of the strategic institutional partners of Bucharest Fashion Week for this edition. CNMI, the organizer of Milano Fashion Week®, is the association that coordinates and supports the development of Italian fashion. The organization represents the highest cultural values of Italian fashion and is dedicated to protecting and promoting its image both in Italy and worldwide. Through this consistent support, the recurring fashion event in Bucharest is legitimized and granted unprecedented scope in Romania.

As part of the collaboration with CNMI, Bucharest Fashion Week will once again feature a renowned Italian designer as part of a special event. This initiative underscores the ongoing commitment to fostering dialogue between Romanian fashion and international trends, providing a relevant platform for cultural and professional exchanges.
In 2025, Polimoda joins Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week as a strategic education partner, supporting the training of a new generation of creatives. Polimoda, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion schools, offers an international perspective on the industry and creates opportunities for collaboration between students, professionals, and industry leaders. This partnership is part of a broader initiative by Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week to encourage academic exchanges between Romanian students and international universities, creating real opportunities for careers in fashion and design. Through this collaboration, students from Romania’s top fashion universities will gain access to valuable resources, mentorship, and hands-on experience alongside industry experts.
Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week creates a collaborative space for designers, buyers, fashion publications, media, and universities. By bringing together local brands, established and emerging creators, as well as renowned international buyers, the event plays a key role in promoting Romanian design on a global scale. Designers from Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova, and Italy, alongside local and international stylists, influencers, and photographers, contribute to the diversity and prestige of this edition.
The Throne Hall at the Royal Palace will once again host the main fashion presentations, showcasing collections by designers such as Rhea Costa, Murmur, AmiAmalia, Carmen Secareanu, and Alexandra Șipa. They will be joined by international designers, including BEVZA, Litkovka, and Ksenia Schnaider (Ukraine), Ok Kino and Rxquette (Moldova), Kata Szegvari (Hungary), and Diana Milkanova (Poland). Romanian brands such as Nissa, Vol, Almaz, Medeea, Seen Users, Ana Radu, M.Marquise, and Manokhi will hold private fashion presentations in historical and unconventional locations across Bucharest, further enriching the experience of this edition.
The presence of top buyers offers Romanian designers real opportunities for expansion into international markets, strengthening the local fashion industry as a strategic economic driver. Through the participation of international designers, buyers, and prestigious publications, Bucharest Fashion Week 2025 reaffirms the status of Romania’s capital as a global fashion destination, with “Made in Romania” becoming a symbol of excellence and innovation.
This year’s event remains focused on sustainability, education, art, experiences, and networking, bringing together designers, professionals, and creatives in a space dedicated to innovation and collaboration. Through conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and presentations, new directions in fashion, responsibility, and artistic expression are explored, shaping a contemporary vision of the industry.
The first edition of this year will conclude with an after-party held in an urban space in Bucharest. The event will provide a special opportunity for networking and showcasing the most spectacular moments from the runway. This gathering will bring together participants and guests, marking a memorable finale in an authentic and vibrant setting.
