The shock-rock legend returns to Romania after 18 years

Marilyn Manson comes to Rockstadt Extreme Fest, the biggest rock and metal festival in Romania. The shock-rock legend returns to our country after 18 years and steps for the first time on the stage of an event that attracts tens of thousands of fans every year, including an impressive number of international tourists.

Manson thus joins a strong lineup of rock and metal, consolidating the festival’s position as the most important event of its kind in Romania and a landmark for the international community. Nearly 40 bands are already confirmed, including Sabaton, Godsmack, Helloween, Black Label Society, In Flames, Slaughter To Prevail, and many others.

December is dedicated to major announcements: the organizers will continue to expand the lineup with new artists, and the confirmations will be communicated progressively throughout the month.

Rockstadt Extreme Fest is preparing a spectacular edition, with a lineup that will continue to grow, maintaining the high interest of fans from Romania and abroad.

Launched in 2013, Rockstadt Extreme Fest has grown steadily, becoming a meeting point for fans from all over the world and a cultural phenomenon for the rock and metal scene in Romania. The festival takes place annually in Brașov County and is preparing for a major change: in 2026, Rockstadt Extreme Fest will move to Ghimbav, to a new location, much larger and with improved infrastructure. The new site offers extended spaces for participants, easy access thanks to the nearby train station, and optimized conditions for camping, accommodation, and logistics.

The rock and metal fan community around the festival is international, extremely loyal, and deeply passionate, bringing together participants from all over Europe and even beyond the continent. The festival has become an annual tradition, a gathering for those devoted to heavy music, who plan their vacations around the event and return year after year.

Marilyn Manson, one of the most influential and controversial figures in alternative rock, has shaped global culture with defining albums such as Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holy Wood. His theatrical style, dark visuals, and the intense energy of his live shows have made him an icon for generations of rebels and outsiders.
