The collection features a range of Levi’s favorites – including men’s denim jeans and shorts and women’s jeans, denim shorts, tops, and even a jumpsuit – that combine denim with linen, a fabric long a staple of summer due to its lighter, cooler structure. The key to linen is its natural fiber with a looser weave, allowing for better air circulation. More airflow means less heat build-up, which is why it has been a staple of summer wardrobes for as long as anyone can remember.
For Levi’s, it’s a new way to keep denim in the summer rotation, even on the hottest days of the year. It’s also a way to mix up denim outfits. After all, linen has a unique look both because of its texture and the way it drapes. By incorporating it into classic Levi’s denim, it gives a more natural look compared to the traditionally rigid character of the fabric and lends a softer, slightly more draped feel. The new Levi’s Linen + Denim is also lighter than traditional denim, so it feels more comfortable to wear when the mercury peaks.
For women, you’ll see the Iconic Western shirt in both dark indigo and faded, a Shrunken Trucker 90s, a Shrunken 90s vest, and an iconic jumpsuit that combines elements of a Trucker and Levi’s jeans into an ultra-chic overall. Women’s pants include a High Baggy Short, Lightweight Carpenter Short, a Straight XL Jean, a Baggy Dad Jean, and a Lightweight Baggy Carpenter.
For men, the collection includes a range of jeans, including the 502 Taper, 512 Slim Taper, 511 Slim, 555 Relaxed Straight, and classic 505 Regular. Also included is a 468 Loose short in faded indigo, dark indigo, and natural ecru.
