iMAPP BUCHAREST WINNERS LEAGUE 2026: PROGRAM AND ACCESS RULES, ON SEPTEMBER 19 AND 20, IN CONSTITUTION SQUARE

iMAPP BUCHAREST WINNERS LEAGUE, the event dedicated to the whole family, organized by Bucharest City Hall, through ARCUB, as part of Bucharest Days, offers on September 19 and 20 two memorable evenings, in which music, art and technology meet in Constitution Square in an effervescence of experiences, emotions and perceptions, carrying the public on a unique visual journey.

RUDIMENTAL, WHOMADEWHO and the “NADIA – The Perfect 10” projection, among the most anticipated moments of the 11th edition

On September 19 and 20, Constitution Square becomes the stage of iMAPP BUCHAREST WINNERS LEAGUE 2026 – PAST. FORWARD., with two days of music, entertainment and digital art, with the international video mapping competition projected onto the façade of the Palace of Parliament at the heart of the program.

On Saturday, September 19, the gates open at 4:00 PM, and the program begins with DJ UNDERR + MC ANER, followed by Poltom (live show), who set the mood for the first evening in Constitution Square. From 8:00 PM, RUDIMENTAL (DJ + Production) takes the stage for a live show that brings the energy of major international festivals to Bucharest. With a sound combining drum & bass, electronic, soul and pop, the British band is known for songs such as “Feel the Love,” “Waiting All Night,” “These Days” and “Not Giving In,” which will be heard live for the first time in the heart of the capital, as part of iMapp Bucharest.

At 9:30 PM, iMAPP BUCHAREST WINNERS LEAGUE 2026 begins, the international video mapping competition bringing to Bucharest seven international artists and studios, winners of specialized competitions in Hungary, Japan, Germany, France, China, the United States and Brazil.

For one evening, the façade of the Palace of Parliament becomes a monumental projection surface, in a competition where image, architecture, technology and music meet in the center of the city. The seven works will be judged by an international jury, and the public will be able to choose their favorite by SMS, to 1755, at standard rate, contributing to the selection of the Audience Prize.

The evening will also include “NADIA – The Perfect 10,” a video mapping show by Mindscape and Carmen Lidia Vidu, dedicated to champion Nadia Comăneci and the historic moment of the first perfect 10 in the history of Olympic gymnastics. Fifty years after that performance, Nadia’s story is told in Bucharest on a monumental scale, on the façade of one of the world’s most recognizable buildings.

On Sunday, September 20, Bucharest Days continues from 12:00 PM, with music, entertainment and food & drinks areas, in a program built for a full day in Constitution Square. Starting at 4:00 PM, the atmosphere will be kept up by DJ UNDERR, MC ANER and DJ OLiX. The evening will continue, from 8:00 PM, with the winning video mapping projections of this edition, followed by the show by WHOMADEWHO (Hybrid + DJ Set), who will take the stage at 8:30 PM, closing a weekend dedicated to the city.

INFORMATION FOR THE PUBLIC – iMAPP BUCHAREST

Access to iMapp Bucharest is free and is done through the specially arranged gates on Bulevardul Libertății, near the intersections with Calea 13 Septembrie and Bulevardul Națiunile Unite. At the entrance, participants will go through a security check, and bags will be inspected. If maximum capacity is reached, access may be temporarily restricted.

Children under 14 may attend only accompanied by an adult, and minors aged 14 and over may enter unaccompanied, with a valid ID.

Unlike the previous edition, access with animals is NOT permitted within the event perimeter.

Lasers, drones, pyrotechnic items, weapons and other objects or materials that could endanger participants’ safety are prohibited. TRANSPORT AND TRAFFIC

For travel to and from the event, organizers recommend using public transport.

On the evenings of September 19 and 20, night public transport will be supplemented in the Unirii, Izvor, Calea 13 Septembrie and Hotel Horoscop areas, between 11:00 PM- 2:00 AM, according to information communicated by STB. In addition, starting September 18, 12:00 PM, traffic restrictions are in place on Bd. Unirii, between Bd. I.C. Brătianu and Constitution Square, and on Bd. Libertății, between Calea 13 Septembrie and Bd. Națiunile Unite.

Participants are encouraged to plan their travel in advance and to opt for public transport.

ACCESS FOR ALL

iMapp Bucharest is accessible to people with disabilities, with a dedicated platform for them and their companions, and adapted restrooms. Organization and security teams are ready to offer support when needed. Medical assistance is provided within the event perimeter, and participants are asked to follow staff instructions and to identify, upon arrival, the nearest emergency exit.

The shows may include high sound levels and strong lights. Hearing protection headphones are recommended for young children, and people with epilepsy or photosensitivity are asked to take into account the visual effects of the shows.

THE PUBLIC CHOOSES ONE OF THE 7 WORKS

As part of iMapp Bucharest Winners League, on Saturday evening, the public can express their preference for one of the 7 works by SMS to 1755, at standard rate. Voting opens after the presentation of the last work, at the START VOTE signal, and closes at STOP VOTE. The voting window will be announced on screen during the event.
