The Cure, twenty one pilots, Teddy Swims, Wet Leg, Kneecap and dozens of other names ready to make waves at the castle
It is here and it looks fantastic: Electric Castle reveals the complete lineup for the edition that will take place between July 16 and 19 on the Bánffy estate in Bonțida. Opened by superstars The Cure, twenty one pilots and Teddy Swims, completed by rock sensations Wet Leg, Nothing But Thieves and LP, with an extravagant hip hop selection that includes Kneecap, Yung Lean and Bladee, and top electro ensured by Mochakk, Chase and Status or Subtronics, the lineup blends established names and avant garde artists who redefine genres. All of this with a touch of Hollywood sparkle through the presence of Keanu Reeves via Dogstar at Bonțida. Passes are available on electriccastle.ro at 169 Euro plus taxes for General Access for a limited period.

The presence of The Cure and twenty one pilots has already excited the entire Electric Castle community and it could not have been otherwise. It is a privilege to listen live at a single festival edition to two bands that already have the confirmation of music history and millions of fans around the world. The excitement gets out of control with the confirmation of Teddy Swims as a premiere for the festival and for Romania. It is impossible that anyone has missed the fever of “Lose Control”, the hit that propelled Teddy Swims to soul pop star status. Swims will bring to the festival’s main stage the raw force and emotional intensity of his hits “Bad Dreams”, “The Door” and “Hammer to the Heart”.
Three names that say a lot about how the main stage of the 12th EC edition will look: Wet Leg, LP and Nothing But Thieves. From a viral single in 2021 to two Grammy awards in 2023, Wet Leg quickly became one of the most awarded names in British indie. Live, the band delivers hits such as “Chaise Longue”, “Wet Dream” and “Ur Mum” in a formula that combines post punk effervescence, feminist attitude and the perfect euphoria for festivals. They are joined by LP, Laura Pergolizzi, the unmistakable voice from New York, an artist and songwriter who wrote songs for Rihanna and Christina Aguilera before the hit “Lost on You” became a European phenomenon. Part of the same equation of major live shows is also Nothing But Thieves, the band with chart topping albums, billions of streams and concerts that you feel deep in your soul.

EC 2026 also brings into the lineup three of the most provocative names of the European scene: Yung Lean and Bladee, the Swedish visionaries who transformed Scandinavian cloud rap from a niche phenomenon into a global cult, but also Kneecap, the explosive hip hop trio from Belfast who reinvented political and cultural discourse through a mix of Irish language, rebellion and adrenaline. Also with Irish roots but in a completely different musical register, Maverick Sabre prepares a show that covers all his albums including “Lonely Are the Brave”, certified gold.
Carefully refined to cover all electronic music genres, the selection of artists in this musical area includes Mochakk, the tech house sensation of the moment, Chase and Status, the veterans of the drum and bass scene with hits such as “Blind Faith” and “End Credits” sold in more than 10 million copies, Subtronics, Kölsch and Deep Dish, the Grammy awarded duo that returned after two decades to the progressive house scene.
It goes without saying that no fan of rock or Matrix will miss the Dogstar concert, the band founded and led by Keanu Reeves. Dogstar brings to the festival new material that proves their return is much more than a simple moment of nostalgia. Plus all the charisma of Keanu of course.
For those eager to already prepare their list of unmissable shows, Balu Brigada, House of Protection, Just Mustard, Sleaford Mods, Omul la lună, HVNDS and Celelalte Cuvinte ensure a complete journey through rock from post punk and indie to electronic rock. Nastia, Sullivan King, Mind Entreprises, Egyptian Lover, Quantic and Layla Benitez are just a few of the 200 artists that make up the Electric Castle lineup for this year’s edition.
