COS COLLABORATES WITH STUDIO ASHBY TO SHOWCASE A SELECTION OF WORKS BY CONTEMPORARY FEMALE ARTISTS IN STORES IN LONDON, PARIS AND HELSINKI

This summer, COS launched a collaboration with London-based interior design studio Studio Ashby, presenting a curated selection of artworks by female artists from around the world.
Displayed in reimagined areas within the brand’s stores on Regent Street in LondonRue Tronchet in Paris, and the newly opened location on Aleksanterinkatu in Helsinki, the initiative strengthens the brand’s deep-rooted connection to modern culture – a constant source of inspiration.

In London, Finnish artist Milla Vaahtera presents a lighting installation that blends bold glass forms with delicate brass, reinterpreting traditional craft techniques through a contemporary lens.
In Paris, a painting by British artist Alice Neave explores materiality, colour, and texture, alongside the work of South African artist Erin Chaplin, examining the relationship between the natural and the artificial.

In Helsinki, a woven piece by British artist Dalia James explores the dynamic interaction of colour and geometry, accompanied by an oil painting by British artist Anna Ilsley, reflecting the complexity of motherhood.

Sophie Ashby, founder and creative director of Studio Ashby, said:

“I am delighted to be collaborating with COS to select and curate artworks for their spaces.
Supporting women in the arts is a true passion, and it has been a wonderful experience to bring some of my favourite female artists into COS’s inspired world.
I’m thrilled to see the works celebrated against the backdrop of each space.”

General Information

Each artwork has been carefully integrated into the store interiors, creating warm and immersive environments where fashion, art, and culture intersect.
Designed to serve as a synergistic backdrop for COS collections, the spaces have been reimagined using thoughtfully chosen materials – from handcrafted micro-paper and plywood tables by Paper Factor, to custom-woven wool rugs by Kasthall, made with surplus yarn from production – every detail has been meticulously selected, experimenting with colour and texture.

The artworks are already on display in all three locations and will remain an integral part of the brand’s visual landscape.
