“Canciones del Corazón” marks a new emotional chapter in Andrei Ursu’s artistic journey. His first fully Spanish-language EP is a celebration of love in all its forms — tender, lost, rediscovered — delivered through a warm Latin pop sound with elegant accents and authentic depth.
Andrei Ursu (aka wrs) is one of the most versatile Romanian artists, managing to break musical boundaries following the success of his Eurovision song “Llámame”. His music has reached countries such as Spain, Germany, Turkey, Italy, and the USA.
In 2022, he released his first EP, “Mandala”, which included the hit “Llámame”, followed in 2023 by the album “Fiesta’23”, a captivating fusion of classic and modern Latin sounds.
2024 marked a new musical chapter for Andrei Ursu with the release of the EP “Cântece de Inimă” and his collaboration with Theo Rose on the song “Noaptea ne fură iubiri”, which stayed in the Top 10 most played songs on radio for 21 weeks, reaching the #1 position.
Also this year, the artist gave up the pseudonym wrs, embracing a new creative direction inspired by retro-romantic interwar music, paying tribute to the elegance and sonic sensitivity of a bygone era.
His latest release, alongside Andra, the song “De-ai fi în locul meu”, quickly won the hearts of the public, reaching YouTube trending and radio charts.
In 2025, Andrei continues the soul’s musical journey with the release of “Cântece de Inimă Vol. 2”, a project that delves even deeper into the artist’s sensitive and romantic side, further consolidating his distinctive and authentic style.
Beyond his musical success, Andrei Ursu is also a beloved television personality. He won two seasons of the show “Te cunosc de undeva” and participated in Asia Express, proving his versatility and charisma on the small screen as well.

The EP “Canciones del Corazón” was written by Andrei Ursu together with Gilberta Wilson (who contributed to the tracks “La noche”, “Enamorados tantas veces”, “Si tú estuvieras en mi lugar”, and “Una nueva vida”), Andrei Mateos(“Quédate aquí”), Bianca Dragomir (“Enamorados tantas veces”), and Adi Istrate (“Si tú estuvieras en mi lugar”).
The production of the songs was handled by Alex Cotoi (“Si tú estuvieras en mi lugar”), Costel Dominteanu (“Quédate aquí”, “Una nueva vida”), Mario Morar and Ștefan Ioniță (“La Noche”), as well as Alex Parker (“Enamorados tantas veces”).
Among the compositions that make up this musical universe is also “Una nueva vida”, the Spanish version of the well-known song “O nouă viață”.
The translation brings a new light to the message, keeping the essence but adding a special sensitivity through the sonority of the Spanish language.
