On International Women’s Day, Theo Rose released her first documentary, “Theo Rose: Pe Vechi. A Journey Through Time,” an emotional delve into the world of interwar music and the behind-the-scenes of her live show.
This documentary mini-series, split into three chapters, follows the artist as she brings old-time songs back to life. With the help of archival footage, interviews with experts, and behind-the-scenes clips, the documentary is more than just a musical story – it’s a bridge between generations and a celebration of Romanian cultural heritage.
The “Pe Vechi” Tour Continues!
After the documentary’s release, Theo Rose takes her impressive show further, bringing the charm of interwar music to audiences across the country. The artist will hold two concerts at the Palace Hall, as well as performances in Ploiești, Bacău, Cluj-Napoca, and Oradea. Those who wish to experience this live can purchase tickets here.
“For me, this documentary is not just about music, but about roots, about childhood, about how I grew up listening to these songs. I included images from my personal archive, moments that reflect the deep connection I have with old music. The most emotional part was discovering the stories behind these songs and the artists who made them immortal. They are life stories, of love, of longing, that give each verse a special weight. I hope people feel the same emotion and carry these songs and stories forward,” shares Theo Rose.

Theo Rose is one of the most appreciated and versatile artists in Romania, captivating audiences with her powerful voice, remarkable talent, and charismatic presence. The end of 2024 marked the beginning of the “Pe Vechi” tour, a special project dedicated to interwar music, which was highly successful. Due to high demand, the tour continues in 2025, with performances scheduled in several cities, including two consecutive evenings at the Palace Hall in Bucharest.
