The artist officially announces the transition to HONOR and transforms a technological decision into a conversation about comfort, routine, and the courage needed to make a change.
There are changes we put off for years. Not because they are difficult, but because we have become so accustomed to what we know that the idea of trying something else seems uncomfortable. For Theo Rose, one of the most followed artists in Romania, the change came in an unexpected place: the technology she relies on every day.
Theo Rose officially announces the collaboration with HONOR and speaks for the first time about the experience of giving up iPhone after years spent in an ecosystem she considered impossible to leave.
The artist acknowledges that the main obstacle was not a technological one, but an emotional one. The fear of losing photos, contacts, memories, and information accumulated over time had made her postpone for years a change she considered too complicated.
“After years of using the same ecosystem, I had the impression that the change would be complicated and that I would lose time with settings and transfers. In reality, the process was surprisingly simple. I think many users avoid making a change not because of the device itself, but because of the perception that the transition is difficult,” admits Theo.

In reality, the process proved to be much simpler than she had anticipated. The data transfer was carried out quickly through the HONOR Device Clone feature, and adapting to the new ecosystem came naturally, without long periods of adjustment.
The experience, however, transformed into something more than a simple phone swap. For Theo Rose, it was also a lesson about how difficult it sometimes is to let go of things we have grown accustomed to, even when we feel that a change would do us good.
“I realized that, many times, it is not the change that is hard. What is hard is the decision to give up something you have gotten used to. In life, we come to believe that certain things must remain as they are, but sometimes you just need to try something new to discover that some changes are worth making,” declared Theo Rose.
In recent weeks, the artist has discovered benefits she had not anticipated. After years of never going anywhere without a charger in her bag, the extended battery autonomy has become one of the details she appreciates most in her day-to-day use. Together with the creative features based on artificial intelligence and the way the phone, tablet, headphones, and watch work together, the user experience has become a fluid and worry-free one.
“Theo Rose is one of the most authentic voices of her generation and represents the type of user for whom the HONOR ecosystem is built: active, creative, permanently connected. Her switch is not an image gesture, but a real usage choice, and this is the best thing a partnership can demonstrate,” declared Sabina Știrb, Marketing Director of HONOR Romania.
Through this collaboration, HONOR and Theo Rose bring to the forefront a universal challenge: that of overcoming familiar comfort and being open to change. The artist will explore and document the experience of using the HONOR ecosystem, including the connectivity between the phone, tablet, and headphones, offering her community an authentic perspective on how technology can simplify day-to-day activities.
“I discovered that sometimes we stay in a comfort zone simply because it seems easier to us. In reality, when technology works in your favor, the change can be surprisingly easy,” concludes Theo Rose.
