We humans, in general, enjoy variety and being different. And that’s a wonderful thing. We can be delicate, sensual, and at the same time, decisive and independent. We can wear what we want, how we want. This appreciation of diversity in fashion and beyond, captured in a short manifesto, became the starting point for Reserved’s special collection – another addition to the brand’s portfolio, created in collaboration with another Polish brand. This time, it’s the duo MMC, founded by Ilona Majer and Rafał Michalak.

“Together with MMC, we have created something truly unique. The DNA of the two brands has merged to create an extremely harmonious fusion – a tribute to quality and simplicity, balancing modernity and tradition, office wear and street style. We have redefined femininity, referencing the classic men’s wardrobe while emphasizing feminine silhouettes in a strong and original way,” says Anna Sołtys, head of the Reserved design office in Warsaw, who is responsible for this collection.

The MMC x Reserved capsule collection is about playing with convention, form, and construction. MMC’s signature dark coats, jackets, and denim are combined with lighter pieces made from taffeta or cotton. Thanks to functional elements like buttons, belts, and ties that can be cinched at the waist, the garments in this collection can be tailored to fit the body or worn oversized. “The collection offers a multitude of styling possibilities, both in terms of mixing clothes and wearing individual pieces in different ways,” highlighted Ilona Majer.
A key aspect of the collaboration was the production process and quality. The collection includes blends with alpaca, wool, and silk. Nylon, typical of the iconic puffer jackets, was also used. “At MMC, we have always focused on attention to detail, meticulous finishing, and high-quality fabrics. That’s why all materials in this collection come from local or European factories,” said Rafał Michalak.
Both brands’ logos have been given significant presence – they appear on clothing, linings, buttons, and decorative patches. Additionally, the manifesto mentioned above is featured on both garments and accessories. Accessories created in collaboration with the MMC duo include elegant mules with geometric heels, snow boots made from a combination of leather and nylon, a leather handbag, two scarves, a hand-painted silk scarf, a leather belt with decorative buckles, and a buckle that inspired the shape of certain jewelry pieces – a silver-plated ring, a bracelet, and earrings.
“What initially seemed like a challenge – working in a large team – turned out to be a revealing and inspiring adventure. We are extremely proud of this project. Our joint collection has allowed us to combine MMC’s values with Reserved’s extensive reach, enabling us to connect with new customers who appreciate quality at an affordable price and want to enjoy fashionable solutions,” conclude Ilona Majer and Rafał Michalak.
The MMC x Reserved collection is available for sale starting October 22 in select physical stores in Poland, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as on reserved.com or the Reserved app. Kasia Struss is the face of the capsule collection, and Josep Moré is responsible for the photo session with her.
