The H&M Studio SS26 collection celebrates individuality through a strong and courageous spirit

For the Spring-Summer 2026 season, the H&M Studio collection embraces its eccentric side, both in attitude and in expression. Intentionally stepping outside conventions, the collection explores asymmetry, unexpected proportions, cuts, and the interplay of colors. Guided by intelligent, creative, and unapologetic nonconformists, the pieces convey individuality and versatility at every step. It is a tribute to both self-expression and unwavering confidence. The H&M Studio SS26 collection will be available at the H&M Băneasa store and on hm.com starting March 5.

The collection balances delicacy with strength, tradition with a rebellious spirit, constantly returning to the idea of interpretation and reinvention, offering each wearer the freedom to make the pieces entirely their own. Silhouettes and shapes invite experimentation. Tailoring structures the collection, from a coat in a classic brown check pattern, with an elongated neckline that also evokes the comfort of a robe, to a sharply defined black blazer with a high opening at the back, curved interior details, and a raw-edged lining visible at the sleeves. The black wide-leg trousers can be folded at the waist towards the back, towards the front, or left unfolded, creating sculptural volume.

Among the collection’s pieces are a painted denim set with expressive brush strokes for a raw finish, an asymmetrical black lace dress with short sleeves that leave the shoulders exposed, completed by an adjustable drawstring waist and lace-insert straps that fall fluidly, a brown checked dress with a front zipper, zig-zag stitching, accentuated shoulders, and an unfinished hem, as well as a black utility jacket with a sculptural construction, front darts, and a relaxed back with a natural drape.

Materials in the collection include wool, leather, cotton, as well as alpaca and mohair blends. The color palette combines classic tones of black, brown, gray, and white with unexpected shades of burgundy, candyfloss pink, pistachio green, delicate citrus yellow, and pale turquoise. Surreal floral prints depict flowers with a fluffy texture or oversized chrysanthemums.

Accessories take on playful proportions: a burgundy leather pillow-shaped bag, burgundy fabric-covered heeled shoes with a diamond-shaped front, as well as statement jewelry decorated with whimsical flowers and a brushed vintage finish.

“The eccentric muse of the H&M Studio SS26 collection lives in contrast, delicate yet bold, playful yet precise. She dresses for the joy of becoming herself. That’s why the collection ranges from tailored pieces and denim to feminine dresses and relaxed items with loungewear influences. Depending on the moment, she can transform into whatever she needs to be, wherever she goes,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear at H&M.
