There are festivals you go to for a concert. And then there is Summer Well the place where music is just the beginning.
On the second weekend of August (7-9 August), Domeniul Stirbey Vodă in Buftea once again becomes the meeting point for those who seek more than a line-up. 15 years after the first edition, Summer Well continues to define a different way of experiencing contemporary culture, bringing together music, art, design, temporary architecture, gastronomy and creative communities in a festival that has built its own universe.
This year, over 20 artists, three stages and a series of curated experiences transform every corner of the estate into a space with its own identity. It’s not just about who takes the stage, but about the atmosphere between concerts, the unexpected discoveries and the collective energy that makes every edition different.
Three stages. Three universes. One summer soundtrack.
Orange Main Stage brings the names that define the anniversary edition. From the unmistakable intensity of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to the explosive energy of Palaye Royale, the sensitivity of Charlotte Cardin and the cinematic vibe of Two Feet, the main stage proposes a line-up built for moments that stay with you long after the last encore. Joining them are names such as DE’WAYNE, Noga Erez and Jalen Ngonda, three of the most interesting voices in contemporary music, covering a wide palette of musical genres.
Sunset Stage by ING x VISA is the space dedicated to those who follow the music scene before it reaches the mainstream. Indie, electronic, alternative and experimental projects coexist in a line-up that puts the spotlight on the new generation of artists and the directions in which international music is heading. Taking to this stage will also be 2hollis, the alternative phenomenon of the new generation, alongside musical projects such as ZEP, Chalk and the Neapolitan duo Nu Genea.
Electro Punk Club returns for its second year and continues to be one of the most spectacular experiences of the festival. Created together with the Space Objekt collective, the space functions as an immersive club inspired by the underground aesthetic of 1970s Los Angeles. Neon facades, visual installations, electronics, punk and an energy that transforms every night into a collective performance, with references to legendary venues such as Madam Wong’s and Hong Kong Cafe. Here you will find the British act The Molotovs, Korean punk act Sailor Honeymoon, as well as representatives of the local alternative scene, Getchoo and Armand Popa.
After the concerts, another story begins
At Summer Well, the experience doesn’t stop when the main stage lights go out.
Throughout the festival, brand activations transform into cultural and social spaces, and the parties specially curated for the anniversary edition extend the experience until late into the night such as the afterparty series hosted by glo™.
Music, visual installations, performances and artistic interventions create each evening a new context for meeting and exploration, in an urban playground where the boundaries between club, gallery and festival become increasingly difficult to define.
15 years of Summer Well
In a landscape where festivals constantly change, Summer Well has maintained its identity: an event built around curiosity, creative communities and experiences that go beyond music.
The anniversary edition marks 15 years in which the festival has become one of the most important landmarks of summer, a place where pop culture, contemporary aesthetics and music meet naturally.
In August, Domeniul Stirbey Vodă once again becomes the place where the summer soundtrack is not just listened to, but above all lived.

Season passes can be purchased at summerwell.ro, at a price of 513 lei + fees. Single-day tickets are also available at a price of 351 lei + fees for Friday and Saturday, while the Sunday ticket costs 426 lei + fees.
