UNTOLD STAR – THE THEME OF THE UNTOLD 2027 EDITION
The eleventh edition of UNTOLD debuted successfully, a day full of pure emotion and memorable shows. Over 120,000 participants from Romania and from around the world were present on the first day of UNTOLD, top 3 festivals in the world, transforming Cluj-Napoca into the world capital of music.
The festival’s 9 stages offered a spectacular line-up, which brought together music legends, EDM superstars, iconic artists of the techno scene, and some of the most appreciated names in Romanian urban music. Mainstage, Galaxy, and Alchemy hosted special shows and spectacular sets, which marked the beginning of the four days and four nights of the festival.
The first day of the festival debuted with the energy of OLIX & ANER from KISS FM and continued with the show of Alexandra Căpitănescu and the set of DJ Bliss.
Sadhguru, Smiley, and Loredana – a special dialogue at UNTOLD
On the first day of the festival, Sadhguru, Smiley, and Loredana held a special press conference together, attended by approximately 200 people. The meeting brought to the forefront themes about balance, connection, responsibility, and the power that music has to bring people together. Sadhguru’s presence at UNTOLD continued on the Mainstage, during the show performed by Smiley, where he delivered a message to the audience for approximately 10 minutes.
One of the most anticipated moments was the show of the legendary STING, an artist beloved by generations who brought the most well-known hits to the UNTOLD stage. After the show, the artist and his team declared how delighted they were by the festival and by the audience.
The evening continued with the Cancelled Music project, signed by Kris Fade & Dean Curtis, followed by the set of one of the most appreciated DJs of the moment, James Hype, who came to UNTOLD for the first time. The artist was visibly impressed by the large number of people who had fun alongside him. The American superduo The Chainsmokers transformed the main stage into an impressive show, in front of tens of thousands of fans who sang along with them to the most well-known hits. Drew from The Chainsmokers burst into tears, overjoyed to be living such moments. After the concert, they declared that they had wanted very much to return to UNTOLD and asked the team to make it possible, and the emotion of reuniting with the audience was something special.
For the first time on the UNTOLD mainstage, Guess Who performed a special show, presented by IQOS, in which the artist’s most well-known tracks were sung by the tens of thousands of fans present at the festival.
The Galaxy stage brought together Persic B2B Paul Svenson, RBØR, Priku, and Cezar, in a night dedicated to house and techno music. The stage’s headliner was the legendary Carl Cox, one of the most influential DJs in the history of electronic music. The British artist returned to UNTOLD and offered fans a new memorable set, in an atmosphere that continued until sunrise.
The Alchemy stage proposed a combination of hip-hop, trap, and bass music, alongside artists who define the new generation of the Romanian and international scene. Taking the stage were Alexandra Căpitănescu, Marko Glass ft. Bvcovia, Albert NBN, IAN, American producer and artist Gramatik, and British duo Sigma.
THE FIRST PASSES FOR UNTOLD 2027 STAR EDITION GO ON SALE SATURDAY, AUGUST 8 AT 9:30 PM
UNTOLD festival fans can purchase the first passes for UNTOLD 2027 – STAR EDITION, which go on sale on Saturday, August 8 at 9:30 PM. The price of the first passes starts from 75 euros plus taxes, out of the final pass price which will be 249 euros plus taxes. These will be available in limited quantities and can be purchased at tickets.untold.com or from the app.
