#ASICScitymoves lands in Bucharest:
Move the City, Feel the Vibe
ASICS, together with BUZZ, brings the city to life with #ASICScitymoves a captivating day of movement, music, and urban play. Sometimes you move the city, other times the city moves you. On September 24, we invite Bucharest to join us at BUZZ Sneaker Station in Băneasa Mall for a unique celebration of energy, creativity, and movement.
Founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka, ASICS has always believed in the positive impact of movement on body and mind. The brand’s name comes from the Latin expression Anima Sana In Corpore Sano “a sound mind in a sound body,” a philosophy that continues to guide ASICS’ mission to this day. Inspired by Kaizen, the Japanese principle of continuous improvement, ASICS has built its reputation through innovation, comfort, and performance, supporting the world through movement for over 75 years.
Throughout the event from midday until late in the evening guests will be able to explore exclusive ASICS activations, test their skills, and have the chance to win sneakers or brand prizes in a vibrant atmosphere. Starting at 12:00, the ASICS Claw Machine will challenge participants to play for a chance to win sneakers or promotional products. At 6:30 PM, the “Hopscotch Challenge” will bring a playful note to a nostalgic game, where guests will be able to test the comfort and cushioning of ASICS shoes by jumping through an urban hopscotch route. The experience will be captured in slow motion for a perfect shareable moment, while a DJ will amplify the energy of the event. At 8:00 PM, the party begins, inviting everyone to celebrate the city vibe together.
As part of the experience, visitors and media representatives will have the opportunity to discover and wear the latest iconic ASICS SportStyle models GEL-KAYANO™ 14, GT-2160™, and GEL-CUMULUS™ 16. These emblematic sneakers combine design inspired by the brand’s heritage with modern comfort, embodying ASICS’ philosophy of movement that supports both body and mind.
Throughout the day, contests will take place on the Buzz Sneakers Instagram page, and winners will be able to pick up their pair of ASICS sneakers directly at the event. Guests are encouraged to tag a friend, follow BUZZ Sneakers, and get ready to win and move.
