Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week 2024, the most important fashion event in Romania, begins tomorrow and runs from October 15-18, transforming the heart of Bucharest into a vibrant runway with global echoes. The event brings Romanian design alongside the major fashion capitals. Among the institutional partners are the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Trade Agency, and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, organizer of Milano Fashion Week®.
The event connects designers, buyers, publications, media, and academics to support fashion in Romania and the region. It brings together brands, local designers, and potential international buyers, promoting “Made in Romania” on global stages. Eight international magazines from five countries, along with over 40 buyers and showrooms, have confirmed their participation, joined by designers from Georgia, Ukraine, and Italy, as well as stylists, influencers, and photographers from four countries.
RUNWAY FASHION SHOWS The latest collections of Romanian and Eastern European designers will be showcased in live shows, taking place in both historic buildings and unconventional spaces, creating a genuine fashion district in the center of the capital.
At the Royal Palace, in the Throne Room, the shows of Litkovska, Gudu, Keburia, Murmur, Carmen Secăreanu, Rhea Costa, Ami Amalia, Katea Gri, and Elena Reva will take place.
