In her latest TOUCH MAGAZINE photoshoot, Lidia breaks taboos and nonchalantly and ironically transforms herself into a controversial character: “I loved the challenge of stepping into this female character, a modern-day Ariel, with the temperament, approach and fiery Latin dress of a Texas tycoon’s wife fresh out of a Vegas casino, going to the stadium to support her favorite team. I like challenges, experiences outside my comfort zone that challenge me to challenge myself. We live in a fast-paced world that likes to label, but also likes to look at labels.”
In a bold way, the photo shoot highlights the complexities, contradictions and obsessions of the modern woman, with LIDIA easily juggling the transformations proposed by the styling team and bringing to life a funny, charismatic and cool character. Although the character’s attitude and style are provocative and daring, LIDIA manages to soften the character’s rough edges, bringing femininity and vulnerability.
Dinamo Stadium, the location chosen for the shoot, provided the ideal backdrop for the complexity of the character personified by LIDIA, giving her the opportunity to play with female stereotypes. Ionel Dănciulescu, the former Romanian national team footballer, perfectly completed the picture of this photo shoot with a striking appearance.
