A dash of ‘80s prep. A rock hit from the ’70s and ’90s. A bit of boho-chic. And a summer journey into a beautiful desert canyon. These are the elements at the heart of the new Levi’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Not to mention a completely new range of relaxed and XL fits for denim and non-denim pants, lightweight summer tops, trousers and dresses, and a brand-new range of festival style for the warm weather.
Titled Pause, Rewind, Play, this new season draws inspiration from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, reimagined for today’s fits and styles. It’s a collection that combines handcrafted details such as embroidery on blouses and camp shirts, with crocheted sweaters, terry polo shirts, college or music-inspired patches, and a mix of earthy, desert tones with hints of deep blue and pink violet.
Silhouettes are mixed this season, with the latest wide jeans for men and XL jeans for women, paired with fitted tank tops, classic graphic tees, and sheer silhouettes. Textures play off each other, with soft linen, terry, and Lyocell blending with heavier knits, crocheted sweaters, and textured artisanal details.
Speaking of materials, this season is about Levi’s latest innovations, including our new 10-ounce lightweight Shrink-to-fit denim. It looks and feels like classic Shrink-to-fit denim, but it’s just as strong, only designed to be softer and lighter, providing the perfect weight for summer. The best part is that this lightweight denim will age just as beautifully as a classic pair of Levi’s Shrink-to-Fit jeans. Other fabric innovations also include a range of new cotton and linen blends, both for tops and bottoms, that help you naturally stay cool on hot summer days.
And finally, this season’s styles take elements from ’80s preppy and classic Americana for men and feminine updates to classic menswear and western wear for women. With looser cuts and softer fabrics, it’s a blend of easily matched styles that look both timeless and contemporary at the same time. Also, for spring and summer 2025, a new Dad Jorts inspired by the ’90s, graphic tees found in Levi’s Archives, cropped tank tops, textured tube tops, and 501 shorts.
