COS PRESENTS ITS AUTUMN WINTER 2026 COLLECTION AT NYFW

A DIALOGUE OF CORPORATE MODERNISM AND 1920S DECADENCE

Today, COS returned to the runway, unveiling its Autumn Winter 2026 collection in its fifth consecutive show at New York Fashion Week. Precision tailoring and tactile fabrications bring a quiet sense of sophistication, while nuanced references to 1920s glamour inform the collection’s texture, drape and sartorial expression. The result is a collection that feels modern, elevated and enduring.

Set within the iconic WSA building in New York’s storied Financial District, the space distills the city’s architectural rhythm into a luminous landscape of light, complementing the precision, structure and subtlety of the collection.

Across 47 looks, the collection explores a considered palette of cool greys, black and navy, punctuated by soft brown undertones and light neutrals, bringing warmth and dimension. Rich purple accents create an unexpected contrast, adding vibrancy and depth to the season’s muted tones.

Creating a thoughtful dialogue between past and present, classic designs are reinvented through a continued focus on craftsmanship and materiality. Double-faced cashmere and shearling create enveloping wrap silhouettes, explored through statement maxi lengths, shoulder draping, cinched waists and collar details. Delicate floral embroidery and fringing bring dimension and femininity, while pleated fabrics introduce movement. Leather takes shape in both artisanal raw-cut constructions and classic silhouettes, while suede and heritage-inspired herringbone weaves underscore the collection’s refined point of view.

In womenswear, modern city dressing is expressed through timeless signatures designed to move seamlessly from day to night. Elongated outerwear serves as an elevated wardrobe foundation, with coats that anchor looks through effortless versatility. At the collection’s core, classic tailoring is reimagined through sculptural silhouettes, considered construction and coordinated separates, creating a sense of understated uniformity. Elegantly draped dresses are rooted in fluidity and ease, featuring 1920s-inspired dropped waists, irregular hems and a nuanced interplay of tactility and transparency, while supple leather bags and loafers complete the looks.

A sartorial sensibility continues throughout the menswear collection, where outerwear and tailoring are distinguished by double-breasted closures, shoulder epaulettes and pinstripes. Coordinated tailoring is grounded by timeless wardrobe icons, from signature shirting to half-zip knitwear and classic cardigans. Relaxed proportions shape the silhouette, while trousers are offered in slim and wide-leg cuts. Tonal ties, Derby shoes and loafers create a refined finishing touch.

Selected pieces from the COS Autumn Winter 2026 show are available immediately at COS stores and cos.com, with limited numbers continuing to drop throughout the season.
