Las Vegas – January 7, 2026 – Lenovo™ presents several Proof of Concept devices at CES 2026 that showcase bold new designs and an AI-powered device ecosystem designed to increase productivity, enhance the user experience and deliver greater comfort. From the new ThinkPad™ Rollable XD Concept and Lenovo Personal AI Hub Concept to the Lenovo AI Glasses Concept and Lenovo Smart Sense Display Concept, Lenovo introduces AI solutions for personal computing that enable users to work more, work smarter and improve their lifestyle.
The new Lenovo concepts also include the Legion™ Pro Rollable Proof-of-Concept, as well as new developments from Motorola.
ThinkPad Rollable XD Concept represents Lenovo’s new bold vision for laptops, enabling expanded screen real estate, an improved user experience and even pushing beyond previously perceived limits. It is one of the world’s first devices with an outward-facing, rollable display that extends toward the user. The bold design enables multitasking, collaboration and configuration like never before.
Building on Lenovo’s legacy of cutting-edge PC design, such as ThinkPad X1 Fold, the world’s first foldable PC, and the first laptop of its kind, the ThinkBook™ Plus Gen 6 Rollable AI laptop, this concept device transforms from a compact 13.3” display into a nearly 16” workspace, enabling multitasking on the go and workflows tailored to user needs. It offers users over 50% more screen space without the need to carry a notebook larger than 16 inches.

With voice commands and ThinkPad Rollable XD Concept’s Swipe to X touch gestures, users can open applications or switch operating modes with a simple command or finger movement. The transparent Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 lid with a 180° viewing angle, developed by Lenovo in collaboration with Corning, provides durability and highlights Lenovo’s technological expertise by revealing the complex mechanism that drives the rollable display.
Thanks to AI-powered features such as real-time translation, voice assistant, multimodal interactions and closed-lid interactions, ThinkPad Rollable XD Concept enables new workflows for hybrid workers, retail signage systems and multi-user scenarios. This revolutionary device is not just a PC, but a platform that delivers smarter outcomes: greater efficiency, increased engagement and future-ready innovative processes.

Powered by Lenovo Qira technology, this concept device leverages the AI capabilities of connected smartphones or PCs to deliver real-time translations in under one millisecond and intelligent image recognition, allowing users to instantly understand what they see and hear. At the start of the day, users can quickly catch up using the Catch Me Up feature, which displays a summary of notifications received across multiple devices.
Weighing just 45 g, Lenovo AI Glasses Concept combines comfort with next-generation design to deliver up to 8 hours of productivity and entertainment. The smart glasses represent a vision of AI-enhanced living, where technology works seamlessly alongside the user throughout the day.

AI-Powered Display Concepts
Lenovo Smart Sense Display Concept is more than just a display, it is an intelligent multi-device hub. In addition to connecting to user devices via cables, the 27-inch UHD display can automatically connect wirelessly to multiple personal devices, including smartphones, laptops and tablets. Users can easily stream content from their devices and collaborate efficiently across multiple screens.
The intuitive display also enables natural language interaction with an intelligent assistant to access devices and applications via touch or voice commands. Multitasking becomes easier than ever thanks to flexible window management and drag-and-drop functionality.
The intelligent technology embedded in Lenovo’s new display prototypes enhances user productivity and ensures increased comfort. The new AI-based personalized display concept provides real-time visual solutions tailored to diverse user needs. Designed as a multi-user display, this concept delivers different experiences based on user profiles, time of day and geographic location, automatically adapting to the human body’s natural rhythms to provide personalized brightness, optimal color temperature and real-time comfort monitoring based on posture, eye strain and other factors. The AI-powered display concept enhances comfort by adapting to the needs of each individual user.
