Kim Jones’ Dior Men’s Fall 2024 Collection To Show in Hong Kong

The exact date and venue for Dior's showcase remain unannounced.

Dior is set to make a big splash in Hong Kong’s fashion scene. This news arrives shortly before another renowned LVMH brand, Louis Vuitton, plans to showcase its Pre-Fall 2024 collection by Pharrell Williams in the city.

Dior has recently confirmed its plans to bring its pre-fall men’s collection to Hong Kong in the first quarter of 2024. The show, envisioned by Kim Jones, is part of Dior’s ongoing global tour. Hypebeast was informed by Dior that,

“In the first half of 2024, Dior will unveil its Fall 2024 men’s collection in Hong Kong, created by Kim Jones. The city joins previous show locations like Tokyo, Miami, London, Los Angeles, and Cairo, reflecting the Artistic Director’s love for global travel and cultural diversity, a sentiment deeply valued by Monsieur Dior.”

This event signifies Dior’s significant return to Hong Kong, following their women’s haute couture show in 2014 and a menswear show in 2016. Dior has been a part of the Hong Kong fashion market since 1980 and currently operates 11 boutiques in the city, including six menswear stores. The consecutive shows by Dior and Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong represent a resurgence for the city, which has recently navigated through periods of protests and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Later in the week, Pharrell’s much-anticipated Louis Vuitton show is scheduled to take place at K11 Musea, a high-end lifestyle center developed by Adrian Cheng’s New World Development. The exact date and venue for Dior’s showcase remain unannounced. In addition to the Hong Kong show, Kim Jones is also preparing for the upcoming Men’s Paris Fashion Week in January 2024.
