HONOR, a global leader in AI device ecosystems, today launched HONOR Pad 20, a thin tablet with a metal casing and a 12.1-inch display, equipped with the new MagicOS 10 and features that bring the user experience closer to that of a PC. The tablet is available in two variants, WiFi and 5G.
Visual comfort for extended use
HONOR Pad 20 comes with a 12.1-inch display, 3K resolution, 292 PPI pixel density, refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and maximum brightness of 700 nits. DCI-P3 color gamut coverage supports accurate, vivid color rendering, for both movies and games as well as reading.

AI Defocus Eye Protection, considered by the company to be a novel solution in the industry, contributes, according to internal tests conducted across more than 2,000 scenarios, to an average 13-degree improvement in transient myopia. AI Circadian Night Display adjusts the screen’s color temperature in the evening and is associated, according to HONOR data, with a 20% increase in melatonin levels, while Hardware Low Blue Light reduces blue light exposure by 12%.
The suite is completed by Global DC Dimming, which reduces screen flicker in low-light conditions, Dynamic Dimming, which reduces eye strain by 18%, and Motion Sickness Relief, with efficiency of up to 89% during travel. The display benefits from TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light emissions and flicker-free operation.

All these features are integrated into a metal casing, just 6.29 mm thick and weighing approximately 525 grams, depending on configuration.
Smart features for greater productivity
With MagicOS 10, HONOR Pad 20 offers a desktop-type interface and multitasking features that simplify working with multiple apps. Up to 15 windows can remain open simultaneously and can be resized, and the Quick Layout feature remembers preferred configurations, so users can quickly return to their desired working mode. A dock-type feature displays thumbnails of all open windows for easier navigation between them, and the file manager likewise adopts a desktop-type interface.
The tablet also includes tools dedicated to productivity. iWork format files can be converted into formats compatible with Microsoft Office, without installing additional apps. AI Memo offers AI-based features for transcribing and organizing information during meetings and can subsequently generate summaries and action lists.
Performance and extended battery life
HONOR Pad 20 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile platform, which brings a 15% increase in processor performance and a 50% increase in graphics performance compared to the previous generation. The tablet can handle activities such as gaming, video editing and the simultaneous use of multiple apps.
The 10,100 mAh battery offers up to 71 days of standby battery life. On a single charge, HONOR Pad 20 offers up to 12 hours of video playback, 56 hours of audio playback or 13 hours of e-book reading, and a full charge from zero takes approximately 106 minutes.
The multimedia experience is completed by a six-speaker system, with low and high frequency separation and HONOR’s proprietary audio algorithm, for balanced, symmetrical stereo sound, both in horizontal and vertical orientation.
Price and availability
HONOR Pad 20 is available in Romania starting September 3, 2026, in the WiFi and 5G variants, both in the 6 GB + 128 GB configuration.
The WiFi variant has a recommended price of 2,099 lei, and for the 5G variant, the recommended price is 2,399 lei.
