Created by the same in-house design team behind H&M Studio, this season’s Essentials draws inspiration from 1990s minimalism, combined with subtle athletic references. Proportions are explored, and design conventions are gently subverted. Key pieces include a double-breasted wool blazer and a layered cashmere cardigan. A piqué-inspired top is offered in a sheer silk blend with a long row of mother-of-pearl buttons, while a sheer pointelle-knit top and skirt play with ribbed hems and rolled edges. Spring freshness is reflected in crisp cotton, washed canvas, and silk jerseys, expressed in shades of white with accents of faded yellow and powder pink.
