Beach, Please! and NIBIRU are reunited in the 2026 season under the production expertise of BIG Events, the company that has contributed since the very beginning to the development of Beach, Please!, one of the most important festivals dedicated to urban culture in Europe.
After five editions in which it ensured the production of Beach, Please!, BIG Events extends its role within NIBIRU as well, the new entertainment destination on the Romanian Black Sea coast, where it will coordinate the production of event areas and live experiences developed throughout the summer.

In the summer of 2026, BIG Events will coordinate the musical and operational production of the main events hosted at NIBIRU, contributing to the development of an ecosystem that will bring together festivals, concerts, experiences and communities for 46 days.
From festival production to the development of entertainment ecosystems
Expertise in production. Vision for experiences that go beyond events.
or: Beyond event production: building entertainment universes.
The expertise accumulated by BIG Events in the production of large-scale projects is today placed in the service of a new generation of experiences. NIBIRU brings together live music, brand activations, gastronomy, sport, nightlife and cultural experiences in a single universe built for today’s audience.

NIBIRU – a new entertainment resort on the Romanian Black Sea coast
NIBIRU is conceived as a seasonal entertainment destination that operates for 46 days and transforms every evening into a different experience.
Unlike a traditional festival, NIBIRU brings together in a single place international festivals and concerts, free shows, gastronomy, sport, shopping, art, interactive experiences and activities for all ages. Visitors will be able to explore attractions such as the Museum of Planets, the amusement park, the panoramic wheel, art galleries, sports courts, retail areas, restaurants and spaces dedicated to communities.
The project is built for different audiences who share the same experience. On the same evening, children can discover the attractions and interactive areas, teenagers can participate in activities dedicated to their generation, parents can enjoy concerts, gastronomy and shows, while grandparents can explore exhibitions, promenades and cultural experiences.
NIBIRU functions as a complete evening destination for tourists on the coast, regardless of whether they have come for a festival, for a holiday or simply to spend a few hours in a space dedicated to entertainment and socialising.

Inspired by new trends in entertainment, tourism and experiential culture, NIBIRU is built for a diverse audience, bringing together communities with different interests in a single space for meeting, exploration and entertainment.
“In recent years we have observed a major shift in the way people consume entertainment. The public is no longer just looking for concerts or one-off events, but complete experiences, places where they can spend time, discover new things and connect with other people who share the same passions.
NIBIRU is the response to this transformation. It is a project that goes beyond the classic festival format and proposes a living ecosystem, active for 46 days, in which music, gastronomy, sport, art and communities coexist in a natural way.
For BIG Events and Urban Nights, involvement in the development of NIBIRU represents a natural step. We use the expertise accumulated in the production of large-scale events to contribute to the building of an entertainment destination that can redefine the way the Romanian Black Sea coast is perceived and can generate long-term impact for the industry, partners and audience.
We believe the future of entertainment does not mean just bigger events, but more relevant experiences. And NIBIRU is built exactly in this direction: as a place where people come for a concert and discover much more than that,” states George Carabelea, Urban Nights Manager.

Brand activations and integrated experiences
In parallel with production activity, BIG Events also develops and implements brand activations for some of the most important companies present in Romania, transforming marketing objectives into real experiences for the public.
From idea and creative concept, through to production, implementation, operationalisation and promotion, BIG Events builds experiences that connect brands with people. Although many of these projects are developed within the largest festivals in Romania, the company’s expertise goes beyond the music sphere, including installations, experiences and activations developed for retail, shopping centres, tourist destinations and cultural projects.
The NIBIRU 2026 calendar
Over the course of the 46 days of activity, NIBIRU will host some of the most important musical events of summer 2026, each addressing a distinct community and cultural identity.
The programme debuts with Beach, Please! Festival, taking place between 8 and 12 July, one of the most important hip-hop festivals in Europe and the main event dedicated to urban culture in the region.
Between 17 and 19 July, GALAXIA Festival takes place, a format built around Latin, pop and international dance music, followed by NEBULA X Festival, scheduled between 23 and 26 July, an event dedicated to the universe of electronic music, from EDM and house to techno.
On 1 and 2 August, K-Pop Days brings to the forefront K-Pop culture and music, in a concept built around live concerts, fan communities and interactive experiences.
The series continues with ROCK DAYS, scheduled between 7 and 8 August, which brings together established artists and representatives of the new wave of rock and alternative music.

The season closes between 28 and 30 August with RETROGRADE Festival, an event dedicated to the hits that defined the 2000s and the artists who marked one of the most influential periods in contemporary pop culture.
In addition to the major festivals and concerts of the summer, NIBIRU will host daily shows, gastronomic experiences, sporting activities, shopping areas, artistic installations and programmes dedicated to families, consolidating its positioning as one of the most extensive entertainment destinations ever developed on the Romanian Black Sea coast.
Through NIBIRU, BIG Events contributes to the building of one of the most ambitious entertainment projects developed to date in Romania and brings its expertise accumulated in event production, experiences and brand activations to a format that brings together music, culture and communities in a single universe.
