NIBIRU surpasses the threshold of 1,000,000 visits. The visitor who marked the moment receives free lifetime access

The NIBIRU resort has surpassed an important milestone less than a month after opening and enters the final weeks of summer with one of the most intense programs to date. 67 Fest, the STARDUST festival dedicated to disco music and hits from the ’90s, and Zilele Mării: Sf. Maria at NIBIRU bring together in the same week concerts, festivals, aerial shows, activities for children, and an extended program starting at 10:00 AM. The 2026 season closes with the RETROGRADE festival, taking place between August 28 and 30 and dedicated to lovers of music from the 2000s.

The moment was marked right at the entrance to NIBIRU, where the one millionth visitor was greeted by Selly and received free lifetime access to NIBIRU. The visitor is Bogdan G., 13 years old, from Sibiu, who came to NIBIRU together with his mother. In addition to this prize, Bogdan received backstage access, as well as meetings and photos with the artists present at NIBIRU.

“Selly greeted me and told me I had won. I was very happy, because NIBIRU is a very cool resort. Today I took photos with Smiley, Puya, and Albert NBN and I thought it was really great. I will definitely come back,” declared Bogdan.

The threshold of one million visits comes after just 24 days of operation and three weeks before the end of NIBIRU’s first season. The figure is confirmed by Festipay, the company that provides the cashless payment technological infrastructure and manages the operational data related to user flows and transactions at NIBIRU.

“We congratulate our partners at NIBIRU for the number of visits reached. It is an exceptional volume for a destination in its first season and confirms, from the perspective of the operational data we manage, the scale of the public flow generated by NIBIRU. The infrastructure implemented was built to be able to support large volumes of users and transactions, and reaching this threshold in such a short period of time is relevant also in relation to the entertainment projects we operate,” states Attila Sükösd, Deputy CEO & Head of Business Development, Festipay.

NIBIRU has become a meeting point for very different audiences: families with children, teenagers and young people, as well as communities formed around pop, rock, latino, k-pop, electronic, hip-hop music or the nostalgia of the ’90s and 2000s.

The profile of the audience has also influenced the evolution of the program during the first season. NIBIRU has introduced more activities dedicated to children, extended the daily program starting from 5:00 PM, and adjusted access and transport flows so that visitors can spend more time at the destination ahead of the evening concerts and festivals.

“We are reaching this milestone at the midpoint of the season, and this is important not just for us, but for the entire Romanian seaside. From the studies we conduct at the exit of NIBIRU, we can see that a significant part of the visitors came to the seaside specifically for NIBIRU. We are talking, therefore, about people who perhaps would not have chosen the Romanian seaside this year, but who came here, stayed in accommodation, went to the beach, consumed at restaurants, and spent money in the local economy thanks to NIBIRU. From our perspective, this is one of the most important effects of the project,” declares Andrei Șelaru (Selly), co-founder of NIBIRU.

ROCK DAYS brought Romanian rock to the NIBIRU Arena stage

The ROCK DAYS weekend, held between August 7 and 8, brought together some of the most well-known names in Romanian rock and artists of the new generation. Iris, Phoenix, Vita de Vie, The Motans, Direcția 5, and Alexandra Căpitănescu were among the artists who took the NIBIRU Arena stage.

The festival continued one of the directions of NIBIRU’s first season: bringing together different musical communities and generations in the same space. The pre-sale for ROCK DAYS 2027 has already begun, with the next edition scheduled for July 31 and August 1, 2027.

This week at NIBIRU: from Generation Alpha to hits from the ’90s and 2000s

On August 10 and 11, NIBIRU hosts 67 Fest, an event dedicated to children, teenagers, and communities formed around online culture, with music, creators, meet & greets, and interactive activities.

The program includes Xremus, Frații Velea, Mitzu and XSlayder, the Kendama Championship alongside Sweets Kendamas and TUSA, Kahoot Brainrot with Ștefu, Coni Slime Party, with chemistry workshops for children, as well as a Fortnite tournament at ARYO Gaming.

At the same time, NIBIRU Center Stage continues the series of live concerts with Delia, Antonia and Florian Rus, INNA and Holy Molly, Carla’s Dreams and EMAA, Theo Rose and Andrei Bănuță.

On Sf. Maria, NIBIRU starts at 10:00 AM and continues until 4:00 AM

Between August 14 and 16, NIBIRU enters a special Sf. Maria program. Zilele Mării: Sf. Maria at NIBIRU opens the Promenade from as early as 10:00 AM and brings three days of concerts, shows, and activities until 4:00 AM.

The program brings to NIBIRU Delia, Smiley, Connect-R, The Motans, Alina Eremia, Alex Velea, Minelli, and Mario, alongside a Folkloric Gala featuring Maria Dragomiroiu, Constantin Enceanu, Surorile Osoianu, Daniela Condurache, and Veta Biriș.

The spectacle also moves above NIBIRU, through aerial moments performed by Șoimii României, Blue Wings, and The Pelicans, while the Promenade hosts throughout the day activities for children, experiences for the whole family, and DJ sets.

In the same weekend, NIBIRU Arena hosts STARDUST, the festival dedicated to the eurodance and pop hits that defined the ’90s and 2000s. Between August 14 and 16, the nostalgic atmosphere begins with STARDUST Day 0 — Disco Party and continues with Haddaway, Nana, The Mad Stuntman, Corona, ATC, Garcia, and Eric Martin of Technotronic.

STARDUST transforms for three nights the music of a generation into a live experience, with hits that defined the dance floors, radios, and music television of the ’90s and 2000s.

RETROGRADE closes NIBIRU’s first season

Between August 28 and 30, NIBIRU closes the first season with RETROGRADE, the festival built around the pop and hip-hop culture of the 2000s.

Timbaland, Busta Rhymes, EVE, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, and Keri Hilson come to NIBIRU Arena for three evenings dedicated to a period in which MTV, music videos, and the great collaborations between artists defined global pop culture.

RETROGRADE thus becomes the last major weekend of NIBIRU’s first summer and closes a season that brought together in the same destination communities, generations, and very different musical genres.

NIBIRU remains open daily until August 30, and the threshold of 1,000,000 visits is reached three weeks before the end of the first season and ahead of some of the most important events in the calendar.

From children who come to meet their favorite artists and creators, accompanied by parents, to young people who come in groups for concerts and festivals, to the audience that rediscovers the hits of the ’90s and 2000s or the atmosphere of Costinești of old, NIBIRU’s first million tells the story of a place where different generations have found their own reasons to come and to come back.
