H&M reveals for the first time all the outfits from the Stella McCartney x H&M collection. The collection is set to launch on May 7th online and in the H&M store at Băneasa Shopping City, almost twenty years after the first H&M collaboration with the renowned fashion designer and activist. The first Stella McCartney x H&M partnership, which represented the second designer collaboration in H&M’s history, was launched in November 2005.
The new Stella McCartney x H&M collection carries this legacy forward, revisiting key moments from the house’s 25-year history and condensing McCartney’s bold, nonconformist vision into a selection of clothing pieces and accessories.
The collection brings together past and present, combining the brand’s current iconic styles such as oversized shirts, voluminous trench coats and sharp cuts with playful, iconic pieces from the early McCartney archive, including prints with glittering embellishments and slogan tops.



“I look at this collection as a journey through my own history in fashion. It is an authentic combination of current classic pieces and some of my past favourites, which reflect my early forays into fashion and the evolution of my creative signature. It is playful, powerful, glittering, full of joy and refined.”, says Stella McCartney.
Among the key pieces of the collection are ribbed knit dresses and tops, decorated at the neckline with the Falabella chain McCartney’s signature as well as a long white dress with a cape sleeve that continues into the hem, creating the effect of a wide circle of fabric. The collection also includes glittering party pieces, separates and denim pieces, alongside mesh dresses and tops printed with a bold cherry print from the archive. A touch of nostalgia is brought by a mini white T-shirt, decorated with studs and inscribed with the message ‘Rock Royalty’.



The accessories range is a strong one, with a special focus on bags. Six styles are available, from small branded shoulder bags and oversized tote bags, to a timeless bag in chocolate tones with a strap decorated with a chain-link detail. This is one of several elements in the collection that integrate the Falabella chain also found in necklaces and earrings crafted from mixed-tone recycled metal, as well as in loafers featuring this detail applied to the front.
The collection stands out for its considered approach to materials, with an emphasis on recycled content, organic cotton, RWS-certified wool, as well as the innovative use of raw materials for specially finished fabrics such as industrial corn and recycled vegetable oil.



Revealed today is the collection’s campaign, shot by Sam Rock in London and starring Renee Rapp, Angelina Kendall and Adwoa Aboah. The atmosphere is playful, yet natural; nostalgic, yet forward-looking. Throughout the campaign, &Stella becomes the slogan of this special collaboration. Reinterpreted in multiple forms &Here &Now &Me &You it conveys a message about connection, care and a way of being that speaks both to the present moment and to past, present and future.
