Feeric Fashion Week – The 17th edition concluded with a spectacular showcase of international creativity

Sibiu, July 20, 2025

The 17th edition of Feeric Fashion Week came to an end on Saturday evening, following a spectacular final day of shows that once again transformed the city into a true global stage for fashion.
The last day of the event brought together emerging designers and prestigious academic institutions, offering the audience a visual marathon that traversed unexpected spaces and contrasting aesthetic universes.

The day began with a special project, HAIDE, under the Feeric Hub umbrella, documented, implemented and coordinated by Karla Ciambur.

HAIDE is a cultural initiative that brings Romanian traditions into dialogue with the present, so that the authentic values of folklore gain meaning and relevance for today’s and tomorrow’s generations.
The project unites artists, craftsmen, researchers, and contemporary creators in a symbolic “hora” (circle dance) of Romanian cultural identity and the arts. The event took place at CineGold.

“Paper Dolls” at Boromir factory A story of healing

The first fashion show of the day was hosted in the basement of Boromir Factory, featuring the collection “Paper Dolls”by Natalie Soto. A meditation on healing and reinvention, the collection transformed fragments of memories into romantic silhouettes with edgy accents: reinterpreted shirts, cargo pants, bubble skirts, and babydoll dresses in black, pink, and yellow.
Repurposed fabrics jerseys, suits, lace, organza, and handwoven fibers from textile remnants were enriched with hand stitched details, pearls, bows, and braided bags, proving that from fragments can rise something more beautiful and braver.

Municipal stadium Sibiu raw emotion and conceptual visions

The next presentation took place at the Municipal Stadium Sibiu, on the rooftop terrace, where student creations offered bold perspectives on today’s world.

The West University of Timișoara students presented a contemporary discourse on collective memory, identity, trauma and rebirth, fragility and digital isolation all expressed through volumes, textures and innovative materials.

Designers from the “George Enescu” National University of Arts Iași  Alexandra ȚigăeruDelia Briceag, and Teodora Gaciu crafted a visual journey where past, symbolism, and future coexisted in contrasting harmony, blending reinterpreted tradition, spiritual symbolism, and deconstructive sustainability.

Huet square feeric gala, a celebration of diversity

The evening culminated with the Feeric Gala in Huet Square, the grand finale of the week, where the collections showcased a remarkable diversity of styles and ideas:

  • Mild Power Kauno Kolegija HEI“Cuoricini”, a dialogue between delicacy and strength, femininity and resilience, presented in knits, velvet, and raw denim.
  • Daiana Mihaela Stăncioiu“UNAPOLOGETIC”, an artistic project from UAD Cluj-Napoca, blending the two-dimensionality of photography with the three-dimensionality of clothing, through botanical details, embroidery, and 3D elements.
