The DIPLOMA Show, a flagship event for the new generation of Romanian artists, architects, and designers, organized by The Institute and presented by UniCredit Bank, announces the opening of registrations for its 11th edition.

This year, the festival will take place from October 4th to 13th, providing an important platform for graduates to present their thesis works.

Updates in the Registration Rules For this edition, the DIPLOMA Show introduces significant changes to the registration rules, accepting thesis works defended in last year’s fall session as well as this year’s winter session.

This decision was made to reflect the academic structure of many universities that organize three thesis defense sessions: summer, fall, and winter, and to provide equal opportunities for all graduates.

“We are excited to open registrations for the 11th edition of the DIPLOMA Show, an event that continues to support and promote new talents in Romanian art, design, and architecture. This year, by extending the eligibility criteria, we hope to offer even more graduates the opportunity to exhibit their works and to connect with industry professionals and the general public,” said Teodora Dinu, Project Director of the DIPLOMA Show.

Who Can Register? The Institute invites bachelor’s and master’s graduates from universities across the country, from various fields such as graphic arts, design, ceramics, photo-video, textile art, painting, fashion, stage design, sculpture, architecture, landscaping, urban planning, and other creative-vocational specializations to register.

Until July 7th, graduates can submit their thesis works for evaluation.

Selection and Jury Over 100 projects will be selected by a jury consisting of approximately 70 specialists from the creative industries and visual arts. These experts include designers, artists, cultural managers, gallery owners, architects, curators, and university representatives, ensuring a rigorous and diverse evaluation of the works.

DIPLOMA Show 2024 Events In addition to the impressive exhibitions, this year’s edition of the DIPLOMA Show will include conferences, parties, and networking opportunities dedicated to the creative communities.
