Approximately 25,000 people attended the moment dedicated to the Day of the National Anthem of Romania, organised at NIBIRU. The event was hosted by Dan Negru, who spoke about the significance and history of the anthem “Deșteaptă-te, române!”, inviting the audience to sing it together.
The central moment belonged to soprano Irina Baianț, one of the most appreciated crossover voices in Romania, whose interpretation of the anthem, alongside the Representative Fanfare of the Romanian Naval Forces and the Naval Forces military personnel, brought an added layer of emotion and solemnity to the ceremony. The audience accompanied the performance verse by verse, transforming the NIBIRU promenade into a choir of thousands of people.
