COS returned to New York Fashion Week to present its Fall-Winter 2024 collections – the main line and ATELIER. Renowned for its commitment to craftsmanship, artistry, and innovative design, COS draws inspiration from contemporary culture and art, seamlessly blending elegance with modernity.
The event took place in an industrial warehouse in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard, where many of the guests arrived by boat, setting the stage for a unique experience. Inside, a stunning maze transformed the industrial space, guiding models through sculptural walls as they showcased 43 looks, capturing the essence of COS’s design philosophy.

This season, the influence of nature is evident in the construction and color palette, as well as in the texture of the materials. Earth tones predominate, enhanced by rich textures and fabrics, with vibrant green accents adding a fresh contrast. Heritage fabrics and traditional patterns are reimagined through modern cuts, metallic embellishments, and innovative layering techniques.

The main women’s clothing line embodies contemporary femininity, brought to life through modern tailoring. Oversized suits with structured trousers offer fluid silhouettes. Elegant and refined, floor-length transparent dresses are presented alongside relaxed wool sets, coats, smooth leather jackets, and furs. The looks are styled with leather loafers, pointed kitten heels, or ballet flats, completed with quilted clutch bags.

The men’s collection focuses on reinventing classic wardrobe staples. Formal tailoring is relaxed for day-to-evening outfits, with baggy trousers cut for a loose fit, worn with draped silk shirts for a softer aesthetic. Fluid trousers are paired with oversized jackets with leather details, while tonal looks combine suits with cashmere layers.

The show also marked the debut of the COS ATELIER Fall-Winter 2024 collection, which draws inspiration from the elegance of ballet and the fluidity of movement, exploring sculptural elements in every silhouette. Rooted in tailoring, the collection showcases softened shapes, layers, and draping that allow the clothes to take on a life of their own, creating unique forms. Transparencies and soft, shiny surfaces are juxtaposed with rich, textured outerwear, representing a sophisticated and tactile collection.
A selection of runway items is already available in COS stores and on cos.com, with a limited number of pieces continuing to appear throughout the season. The COS ATELIER AW24 collection will be available starting in October.

COS is also collaborating with sustainability partner Good Planet to coordinate donations and waste management after this year’s event. The materials used in the Fall-Winter 2024 show’s decor are either rented or have components installed and disassembled to maintain their quality, ensuring they can be donated or recycled after the event. Soft materials, such as the carpet used for the runway, will be donated to Materials for the Arts, New York City’s largest creative reuse center, ensuring the materials go directly into the hands of artists, educators, and students.
