The last day of Electric Castle (EC) 2026 is full of emotion for rock fans and football supporters alike. With The Cure and Dogstar on the festival’s main stage and the live broadcast of the World Cup Final, fun is guaranteed to come out on top. The warm-up for day 4 of EC 2026 began in the morning with a cross-country run in the camping area, a chance to replay, in memory, the moments gathered on Saturday night, when Nothing But Thieves and LP channeled all the emotion of the audience and transformed it into two memorable concerts. “We love being here and we would want to be able to come more often than we already have. You have an absolutely special energy!” said Conor Mason, the NBT frontman, at the end of a show in which they treated their fans to a great deal of new material, presented for the first time at the castle. That same special energy was found, indeed, at all the stages in the festival, where fans danced until dawn to the set prepared by veterans Deep Dish and to the house rhythms mixed by Jax Jones and La Sécurité. In total, 63,000 participants filled the Banffy estate on the 3rd day of the edition.
Sunday calls for a special festival outfit. Intense eye makeup, teased hair with no limits, and the jersey of the Spanish national team (or Argentine, depending on preference) are absolutely necessary for navigating between the main stage where The Cure will play for 2 hours just a little less than the expected duration of the World Cup Final that will be broadcast on the Hangar stage screen. Everyone has kept a little space in their phone’s memory for superstar Keanu Reeves, who will be present in Bonțida alongside his band, Dogstar.
