As part of the “Open Streets” initiative, the Telephone Palace becomes the space where the history of communications meets HONOR technology.

As part of the “Open Streets” initiative, organized by the Bucharest City Hall, HONOR and Orange invite the public to the Telephone Palace to discover and test the latest HONOR products. Over the weekends of July 18-19, July 25-26, and August 1-2, visitors will be able to explore the HONOR product portfolio, the “The Art of Reliability” installation, as well as a selection of works from HONOR Talents.

A symbol of Romanian telecommunications

Inaugurated in 1933 and considered at the time the first skyscraper in Bucharest, the Telephone Palace is one of the most well-known landmarks in the history of Romanian telecommunications. The presence of HONOR in this location completes the thread of the evolution of communications, from classic telephony to foldable smartphones and technologies based on artificial intelligence.

Hands-on experience with the latest HONOR products

Visitors can discover and test the new generation of HONOR devices, from smartphones and smartwatches to tablets. Among these are the HONOR Magic V6, the HONOR 600 series, Magic8 Lite and Magic8 Pro, alongside HONOR Watch 6 and MagicPad 4 the thinnest and lightest HONOR tablet to date as well as HONOR Pad X8b.

The “The Art of Reliability” installation

Signed by artist Catrinel Săbăciag and created on the occasion of the launch of HONOR Magic V6, the work offers an artistic interpretation of the concept of reliability, one of the values that define the new foldable flagship.

Works from HONOR Talents

Alongside the “The Art of Reliability” installation, the public can also discover a selection of works created by Romanian participants in HONOR Talents. This year’s edition marked the debut of the global competition in Romania, offering local artists and creators the opportunity to participate in an international project dedicated to the dialogue between art and technology.

“The Telephone Palace is one of the most representative places for the history of communications in Romania, and the presence of HONOR creates a natural connection between the communications heritage and the technology of today. Together with Orange, we want to offer visitors the opportunity to discover and test the latest HONOR innovations in an open and accessible setting,” declared Kerr Cheng, Country Manager HONOR Romania.
