About Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is a multi-platinum artist and three-time GRAMMY Awards winner whose genre-defying music and unapologetic individuality have redefined contemporary pop culture. Named the most-streamed artist globally on Spotify for three consecutive years (2020–2022), Bad Bunny holds the record for the highest-grossing tour in a single calendar year: 2.4 million tickets sold across 81 shows, generating $435 million in revenue, surpassing even the previous revenue record held by Jay-Z at the Barclays Center.
In 2025, his groundbreaking 30-show residency, NO ME QUIERO IR DE AQUI, held at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, sold nearly half a million tickets, with an additional date added due to overwhelming demand. The final concert, streamed live worldwide by Amazon Music, became the most-watched solo artist performance in the platform’s history.
Bad Bunny has consistently redefined global music, breaking records and elevating Latin music to unprecedented levels. Most recently, he made history by becoming the first Spanish-language artist nominated in all three major GRAMMY categories, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year, at the 68th edition of the awards. In total, he received six nominations, further cementing his global influence on the music industry.

These achievements add to an already remarkable list: in 2023, he became the first artist to receive an Album of the Year nomination for a Spanish-language project (Un Verano Sin Ti), the first Latino artist with 100 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, and he topped the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks with the album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. He also delivered the most-watched NPR Tiny Desk performance in the series’ history and became the first Spanish-language artist to headline Coachella. Continuing his record-breaking run, Bad Bunny won five Latin GRAMMY Awards at the 2025 ceremony, bringing his career total to 12 Latin GRAMMY trophies.
Beyond music, Bad Bunny is an influential presence in fashion and entertainment: co-chair of the Met Gala, cover star of Vogue Italia, face of major campaigns for brands such as Calvin Klein, actor in film projects alongside Darren Aronofsky and Adam Sandler, and a historic guest on Saturday Night Live both as host and musical performer. His return for the show’s 50th anniversary further solidified his status as a pop culture icon. With a distinctive voice and an artistic vision that transcends borders, Bad Bunny continues to shape a new era of global entertainment, one in which language, genre, and geography are no longer limitations.
