A nostalgic journey through 70s Tokyo funk and slow-motion freedom
For Spring/Summer 2026, AMBUSH takes a detour from conventional streetwear and heads into a realm of emotional urbanism, where movement is guided not by maps, but by instinct. Titled “Tribe on the Move”, the new collection by Yoon Ahn draws inspiration from the groovy energy of 1970s Tokyo and the poetic aimlessness of road trips with no destination.

What does it mean to be part of a tribe today? AMBUSH offers a subtle, introspective answer: to belong is to move together—not necessarily in sync, but in spirit. This SS26 collection imagines a contemporary tribe, light on baggage, deep in connection, and dressed for freedom.
The silhouettes speak of comfort and timelessness: wide-leg brushed cotton pants, sun-washed denim, relaxed jackets with precisely cut seams—a blend of fluid nostalgia and effortless ease. This is clothing that breathes, that listens, that carries the stillness of summer afternoons and the hum of distant highways.

Accessories take center stage as symbolic extensions of the tribe’s voice. Statement silver jewelry, hand-shaped into sculptural emblems; oversized sunglasses that veil and reveal at once; handcrafted belts that wrap the waist like totems. On their feet: leather sandals with strong soles—footwear built for discovery, spontaneity, and the joy of unplanned paths.

The color story unfolds like a journey through nature and memory: earthy browns, abstract animal prints, horizon blues, powdery lilacs, and citrusy yellows reflect a landscape touched by time and light.
With Tribe on the Move, AMBUSH honors its streetwear legacy while embracing a softer, more reflective identity. It’s urban, but from a meditative, almost spiritual angle—a tribe not defined by noise, but by energy, flow, and freedom of expression.
