A fast shooting, gorgeous outfits and a pro team. Alexia tells us how it was on set, why she likes TOUCH and what her life looks like between video projects, travels and developing her own fashion brand, Margot.
“Everything was natural and in the moment. We were lucky to have creative and spontaneous people.”
Making-of: how it was at the shooting
I felt very good at the shooting it was faster than I expected, which is not a bad thing at all. The whole team knew exactly what and how we had to do everything. The outfits were superb, the team was pro, and everything happened naturally, in the moment.
What I like about TOUCH is that every issue is unexpected. As they say, it always has a special “TOUCH.” Thank you for the invitation!
What Alexia is up to
I work on many things at the same time as you know me! From morning till evening: I film new projects, I travel for jobs and, in parallel, I develop my clothing brand Margot. I have “a thousand” ideas every day, but I think it’s important to do them one by one and 100%, then move on to the next. Many new things are coming and I will keep you updated on my social media.
Q&A with Alexia
- If your life were an outfit, what clothing piece would be the “star”?
A big and out of the box bag, filled with all kinds of things or a layering of sweaters. A busy life, full, with many tasks. - What absolutely banal object (pen, cup, sock) would you turn into a luxury item?
A beautiful pencil, worn as a hair accessory. - If you could erase one rule from fashion/art, which would disappear first?
In general, I wouldn’t erase anything that’s the charm in fashion and art. But what I can no longer get used to now are skinny jeans for men. - In what film or series would you like to step in just to wear your creations/ideas?
Sex and the City (Carrie Bradshaw) or Emily in Paris. - What would your perfect playlist look like for a runway show or an exhibition?
It depends on the theme of the collection. Usually, I am guided by the creations and what they transmit to me. - What is harder: to create something totally new or to make people laugh?
They are two totally different things. It is very hard to create something totally new, but I still believe you can create something authentic, inspired of course by everything you see around you and obviously with your personal imprint.
And regarding making people laugh, I think it depends a lot on the person’s character. I think you either make them laugh, or you don’t. Either you are a funny person by nature, or you became one over time due to circumstances, the family environment, or you are not and you have other qualities.
So I can say both are hard. 😅 - If you were an emoji, which would represent you best and why?
🤸🏻♀️ this one, I think, because I am full of energy, always active and I cannot sit still!
