Angèle, Asake, Luidji, ShyGirl, Theodora, SSSound, La Mano 1.9 and many others took the stage in front of thousands of spectators, in an unprecedented musical event organized right in the heart of Paris.
On September 17, the adidas arena was transformed into an unmatched musical stage with the event “The Sound of Superstar(s)”, hosted by adidas Originals – a celebration that brought together thousands of participants in a show built together with the community, demonstrating the iconic influence of the Superstar shoe, beyond cultures and generations.
The show featured an impressive line-up, with artists from different genres and generations: from the Belgian-French pop symbol Angèle, Nigerian afrobeats superstar Asake, French rapper Luidji, the new powerful voice Theodora, the experimental and electrifying singer Shygirl, the rising rapper La Mano 1.9, DJ and producer SSSound, to visionary choreographer Marion Motin and her spectacular dancers – all presented by artist and MC Mariana Benenge, who brought to the stage her unmistakable energy and voice.
Each artist performed wearing Superstar shoes in their own style, while La Mano 1.9 wore a unique pair created especially for him – a live example of the versatility of this model, which continues to unite music scenes, from underground electronic to mainstream pop.
“Superstar has always celebrated the meeting point between sport and culture, and music has always played an essential role,” said Annie Barrett, Vice President Brand Communication at adidas Originals. “We wanted to create a moment where the community could experience the energy and creativity that have always surrounded this silhouette.”

Paris could not ignore the visual transformation of the adidas arena in the days leading up to the concert. The installation covered 1,555 m² of the building’s base with graphics inspired by shoe boxes, while 650 m² of the upper façade were decorated with portraits of campaign ambassadors – including Angèle, Anthony Edwards, Jules Koundé, Jennie Kim and Missy Elliott – some over 15 meters high. The installation – visible between September 13 and 20 – transformed the adidas arena into an unmistakable cultural landmark, attracting both the public and social media attention throughout the week.
Tickets for the show were distributed mainly through the adiClub community, with members registering for raffles depending on their level of interaction with the brand. The last 600 tickets were made available at the flagship store on Champs-Élysées, where huge queues of fans eager to attend were formed.
The concert was completely free for the public and once again demonstrated how the Superstar silhouette continues to create connections with new generations through music and street culture.

Once inside the arena, participants could enjoy a complete experience:
- Visuals and campaign photographs displayed throughout the location and on the main stage
- The newest Superstar and Firebird collections exhibited
- Limited edition merch available both at the adidas arena and in four adidas stores in Paris
Held at the adidas arena – a space dedicated to urban cultures, hosting throughout the year the Paris Basketball club and known for major sports events and legendary concerts – the show brought together music, fashion and sport in an unforgettable experience.
The concert was part of the Superstar celebration in Europe, marked by product launches, in-store activations and digital content with musical talents from major European countries throughout 2025. In Romania, the campaign gained a new dimension through the collaboration with Delia, one of the most emblematic voices of local pop culture, who reinterpreted the spirit of Originals through authenticity and expressiveness.
