As the first vehicle built on the new Van Architecture, modular, flexible and scalable, VLE completely redefines the concept of a large limousine. Its design impresses just as much as the remarkable interior space experience, which takes the typical Mercedes-Benz “Welcome home” feeling to a new level. The new AIRMATIC system with automatic level control transforms every journey into an incredibly quiet experience, only floating could be smoother. The new Mercedes-Benz VLE embodies a completely new design language, a low dynamic silhouette and an iconic aesthetic. The result is exceptional aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of only 0.25.

Extremely flexible configuration for up to eight people, Roll & Go manual system or remotely controlled “seat ballet”

The manually operated seats are equipped with four integrated wheels and can be easily moved forward and backward, fixed in any position or removed and transported easily into the garage. The electrically adjustable seats can be moved intuitively through the app or through MBUX in a true “seat ballet” Remote Variable Rear Space.

Completely new seats, choose the style and level of comfort that suits you

The new seats and individual benches, mechanical or electric, can be configured in a variety of ways. The highlight is the electric Grand Comfort seat equipped with an additional cushion, wireless charging, lumbar support, massage function and calf support.

MBUX Rear Space Experience without equal, every journey becomes an immersive experience

Hidden in the ceiling above the front seats is a retractable panoramic screen of 79 cm 31.3 inches with 8K resolution, split screen function and an 8 megapixel camera, ideal for movies, music videos, games or video conferences.

Superior driving performance, agile and comfortable like a premium limousine

The AIRMATIC air suspension with level control of up to 40 mm transforms every journey into an extremely smooth experience. With rear axle steering of up to 7 degrees, the VLE is remarkably agile and has a turning circle of only 10.9 meters.

WLTP range of more than 700 km, long distance comfort without charging anxiety

On long journeys VLE can be recharged for a range of up to 355 km WLTP in just 15 minutes thanks to the 800 volt technology and the new battery with a usable capacity of 115 kWh.

Exceptional interior experience, Sky View panoramic roof

The glass roof creates an unprecedented feeling of space, freedom and calm. The ambient perimeter lighting highlights it spectacularly, while an electric blind offers protection from excessive sunlight.

Top level digital intelligence, a more personal and intelligent driving experience. Thanks to the Mercedes-Benz Operating System MB.OS based on artificial intelligence, VLE integrates the latest generation MBUX with intuitive and personalized control. The MBUX virtual assistant uses multi agent generative AI, understands complex conversations, has contextual memory and responds like an informed friend. Over the air updates keep the vehicle constantly updated by adding new functions without the need to visit an authorized center.

Digital cockpit MBUX Superscreen

Three screens integrated under a single generous glass surface: a 26 cm 10.25 inch display for the driver, a central screen of 35.6 cm 14 inches and another 35.6 cm 14 inch screen dedicated to the front passenger.

While the driver benefits from clear and well structured information, the front passenger can enjoy a personalized entertainment experience such as video streaming, games or applications.

Lane change and direction change without effort MB.DRIVE

The Distance Assist DISTRONIC system is offered as standard equipment. Optionally MB.DRIVE ASSIST adds semi autonomous steering functions on the highway and a revolutionary lane change assistance system. It is enough to activate the turn signal and VLE takes care of the rest.

Perfect fit for families

VLE is the ideal partner for families, simplifying everyday life. In just 15 minutes it can be charged for a range of up to 320 km WLTP. On a long distance trip from Stuttgart to Rome of almost 1,100 km VLE required only two short charging stops of 15 minutes each. Thanks to the MB.OS system the large limousine also benefits from the most advanced driver assistance systems ADAS.

VLE is equipped with electric sliding doors on both sides with optional HANDS FREE Access, extremely useful in narrow spaces. The sliding doors feature fully retractable windows ensuring optimal ventilation. Equally practical is the separately opening rear window which facilitates loading and unloading. Depending on the selected central console it is possible to move easily from the cockpit to the rear area.

A reliable partner in any situation

Whether in the urban jungle or in the middle of nature, VLE is ideal for enthusiasts of recreational activities who need flexible space and effortless travel including off paved roads. With the Roll & Go system the seats can be moved manually forward and backward, fixed in any position or removed completely to create generous space for sports and leisure equipment. With a towing capacity of up to 2.5 tons VLE can easily tow caravans, boats or horse trailers. Optimal propulsion and maximum traction are ensured by the powerful electric unit with up to 305 kW and the 4MATIC all wheel drive system.

Exclusive shuttle

With modern elegance and an immersive spatial experience VLE meets the highest expectations of the premium segment. Up to eight seats are available arranged on three rows. There are multiple configurations including face to face arrangements with mechanically adjustable seats. The two electric sliding doors included as standard ensure comfortable access on both sides.

Inside rear passengers enjoy an exceptional MBUX Rear Space Experience. A perfectly integrated retractable panoramic screen with a diagonal of 79 cm 31.3 inches format 32:9 split screen function 8K resolution and an integrated 8 megapixel camera transforms the cabin into a captivating universe of experiences for entertainment or productive activities including video conferences.
